Good concept but not ready for paid subscriptions
Interesting concept, however the app crashes very frequently and does not seem to accept edits to tasks. There also seems to be a cap on the number of tasks the user can register, and once the limit is reached the app simply crashes when the user attempts to add another task. Requests for help have gone unanswered. All in all, a user might find the experience too frustrating as I have, especially since a fee is demanded for extended functionality.

I like the simple concept but it never alerts me. I’m on the latest iOS.
Do not buy
No support. Emailed the developer that tasks were not Saving due to a server error. Received no response. Tasks will not save due to the error. Why are my tasks being uploaded to the developers server?

Update: 9/27/19 I’m not claiming responsibility but app was fixed within less than a day of my last review that praised the app itself but lamented the fact that it wasn’t working on iOS 13.1 - it kept all my data too- just in time for chore day! Thank you!
Simple, straight forward, just what I had been looking for. But it stopped working after I recently updated my iPhone to iOS 13.1 - I really hope they fix it soon because I have chores to do this weekend and I want to be able to prioritize based on the data I’ve been keeping

Great but...
This app makes things simple but my only quarrel so far is how many times it has crashed on me. I can switch apps and come back a second later and it crashes. Or I’ll be in the middle of something and it crashes.

I make YouTube cleaning videos! unique gucci family is my name and devoir is helping me remember what I have to clean that day! I love this app a lot I added it to my 9 & 6 tables to help remind them what chores they have to do that day. All it been a life safer for my voice lol. Love to slide it over to green because they feel like they accomplished something that day!! Thank you 💝

Great app for chores
This app is great there is only a very small (almost unnoticeable) banner advert at the bottom of screen that never goes full screen. The only things that could be done to improve it is to allow the person to choose weekly/monthly options as well as the pre existing day-by-day ones, as it would make it far easier. Also more icons! If there were icons for things like paperwork it would be great.

Perfect for those needing KISS-based apps for productivity...
4/22/18: Updated review: Wow!! This developer is a good egg! I sent an email a few days ago describing a bug and made a request for pet icons, and both have been taken care of already! Now, if we could just get some kind of sync or backup, even an export to email or cab that could be imported back in, I would be thrilled. If I knew more about app creation, I would volunteer to help with this, because I am think this app is perfect for my A.D.D.
4/20/18: I am someone who needs visual cues, but things based on keep-it-simple-stupid foundations to help keep me organized and directed. This app does that for my daily and monthly chores. It can definitely be used for more than chores as well, but right now, the icons and limited number of color choices precludes that, thus one star off for now. I will definitely revisit my review each time there are updates to the app if further functionality is added.
Also, there is NO iCloud or other sync ability, so if you need to reset your phone, which I do often, or reset the app, you will lose everything you have entered in Devoir. That means another star off. I want to keep this app, but after seeing there is no backup or sync capability, I am now doubtful that this app can be useful for me.

Great for household chores

In version 1.4, the app will now track the past due chores on the app badge. Notifications will also say how many chores are due/past due for that day. In version 1.3, I removed the upper limit on how long the repeat intervals can be. So now having a chore repeat every 60/120/180/365 days is possible. Good app- needs one thing changed
Good app- just PLEASE make the intervals longer than 30 days! Some chores I only do every 3 months or even yearly! I WANT to keep this app, but I want it to give me that option. Would give 5 stars if I was able to choose time intervals for chores up to one year.
