Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Chap at 4.5 against Devoir's 4.2. Chap also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Devoir's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
