Really Good App, But Could Use Some Extra Features
I’ve done half of the hikes on this app so far, been doing one every weekend and I can safely say it’s a good app. It hasn’t faulted when I’ve lost phone signal. I really appreciate the little picture that comes with each route as it gives you something to keep an eye out for. So my suggestions for improving this app further would only be a few.
I would like to see a slightly more detailed map for the actual route, with street names etc. whenever you’re walking and also a map you can either zoom in further on or perhaps rotate for the direction you’re walking in. That would be very useful.
I’d like to see a check list as well, so you can mark which hikes you’ve done and which ones you haven’t. That way you can pick and choose easier from ones you’ve done to not done yet.
Also, as a last suggestion, just a few more routes. The ones I’ve done so far have been really good and it would be nice to see a few more added.
Otherwise, I’d highly recommend this app if you’re getting into hiking. It’s fairly simple to follow and the fact it gives directions to parking places is really helpful. Good app, overall!

I will withdraw this review if it is my ineptitude but I seem to have spent £3.99 on a walking app that fails to give any walking directions, just a poorly drawn map with no features. No instructions. No indication what the route is like. No indication what you need to look out for. I bought it as we are due to holiday in Devon. Waste of money.

Devon walks
A great app for my short say in Devon. Accurate routes on public footpaths and all the ones I tried were beautiful or spectacular. My only criticism would be that it would be helpful to have a short description to help in choosing the walk about the terrain , advisability in bad weather etc. otherwise great. Thank you.
