Great for putting leagues

We run a very large putting league with player attendance averaging around 125 players per week. Keeping track of scores on paper cards was exhausting. This app has simplified our jobs as event directors. Players are able to view the leaderboard during the round and create player profiles. The app runs smoothly with high volume. This will be the official scoring app inside the Putting Arena.
There is also games you can play within the app. These help take boring practice putt days to the next level. Track your putts and your progress.

I’m A Putting Monster!

This app has made me a putting monster. I use it everyday, I love looking at stats and noticing my improvement on the course. 16,746 putts so far!

Easy & Fun

I like the layout and stat tracking. Must have for DGers!

Great app for automating putting practice

This app is great for getting in your putting practice. Several different modes give options for getting in putts at multiple distances or drilling specific problem areas.

I really like JYLY as it automatically determines what distance your next set should be from based on how many you hit on the current set.

I do wish there was more of a visual indicator when you tap on a score, because sometimes it has you repeat the same distance, but when the phone is on the table, it’s hard to tell if your tap registered or not.

Love it!

Great app! Great to keep track of progress even if it doesn’t go the way you want. It needs an Apple Watch app though.

Data farming

Like the idea. Thank Anthony for me downloading but like everything, they just want your data to sell on the backend….

Subscription Plan for Everything Now

This app functions just like all of the other ones out there. It has a cleaner UI and allows the user to set putting distances which is nice. But, the fact that what is likely just an graphed representation of your previous games, the “Progress” section, is locked behind a subscription plan paywall is absurd. How money hungry do developers get that an app that practically just counts is seemingly worth paying monthly for. Honestly just gonna keep track of my putts on an Excel spreadsheet because that’s what this app is making you pay for. Without the subscription plan this may be the best app out there for fans of putting in disc golf but it gets a generous 2 stars because the other 3 stars are locked behind the paywall.

Solid app for practice

This is a solid application for practicing. It’s only as good as you make it though. Gotta stick to it.

Absolute Best Way To Track Putting

Enormous improvement in every single way on v1. Separate tags and stats for wind, stances, elevated baskets etc. Just a all arohnd amazing tool for improving your putting. Can’t recommend enough.

Good tool for disc golf putting but…

Nice easy to use app for practicing disc golf putting. However there is a major issue. When selecting the number of putts that I made, the app cuts off my music and plays it through the right channel of the phone. Happens on Spotify and Apple Music apps.

r/DiscGolf is unhappy with you!

You’re gonna need to see the complaints listed on Reddit about your update to 2.0. People are not willing to pay your price for this app. I am hoping you’ll contact to figure this out. It’s a small community.

Edit: if the stats aren’t gone, but in the old version, then how do we get the old version back? There was nothing wrong with it.

Terrible update

As others have said, this app used to be simple, free, and effective. Since the latest update, the app has completely changed.

All of my history and progress is gone, the functionality is very limited without paying a subscription fee, and the new UI is garbage compared to the intuitiveness of the older version.

Paywall without warning

With no warning they dumped existing users behind a paywall. I’ve been using this app near daily for over a year to track my JYLY progress. Now not only is my history locked, the actual JYLY game is locked too. Had we been informed I maybe would have joined. I’m more disappointed in the sudden drop saying F you to the existing players. There’s no chance I’d ever support this developer. What’s next, you pay for a subscription and they drop existing content into a new higher paid sub? Unethical.

Just lost all my data behind paywall

They updated the app to put all the progress I had behind a paywall. Can’t play or see my stats without paying. A little heads up would have been nice this is ridiculous. Uninstalling.

Fantastic

Lots of games and you can track your progress, hope to use it a lot!

Great putting Tracker

For me, this has been a great app to track my practice putts at. It has many various games to help you practice a little bit under some pressure and a different distances.

I am new to the sport but I would agree with a previous review that if you could leave notes in the practices that you did (if it was uphill/downhill or in the wind).

Overall though, I prefer tracking my putts with this app over UDisc.

Putting practice with a purpose

A few different putting game formats to choose from. Runsjo and JYLY are my favorite so far. These games help add a bit more pressure into your practice to help your focus. Each game is quick and easy so you can fit it in when you have time and don’t wear yourself out.

I’d recommend throwing 20-30 practice putts before starting your first game for the day to shake off any cobwebs.

It’s not perfect though. It would be nice to have the ability to add friends to a game on your phone. Alternatively, it would be great if you could challenge your friends digitally. Invite them to a round of a game and you each complete it on your own time to see who wins!

Great app! Thanks for making me look forward to practicing.

Language

It says English but mine is not. Can’t understand nothing.

Great app for practice putting!

It gives structure and competition (against yourself) to practice putting. I just got it and already love it. Tracking stats is great, different games modules are great. It would get a 5 star from me if I could add notes to each putting session (ie wind, uphill, downhill, straddle, etc…), or even select wind direction, estimated wind speed, type of putt stance, and even uphill/downhill or elevation and track stats using those categories as well (I could go back and see where I need the most practice-how well do I putt into the wind or downhill, ect..).

I recognize this might be beyond the scope of the app itself, but It would also be cool if I could create my own putting game module or if I could slightly modify each game (change number of putts from 6 to 5, or add in additional distances or maybe be able to change the number of total putts in a session.

I hope this is helpful! I really enjoy this app!
