Minimalist but confusing App
The app works well when you want to buy or order stuff. But I could not find how to cancel an order or request a refund. I am sure these were hidden on purpose to make it harder to cancel orders.
Also, merchants get an automatic 5 star review if you don’t leave a review in time. That’s ridiculous!

Can’t get a refund
I’m very disappointed with how this situation was handled. I understand that DHgate requires an issue/lost letter from the carrier in order to process a refund, but how am I supposed to provide that document when the carrier itself is not responding to me?
I have tried contacting the company that delivered my package, but there is very limited information available about them and the only contact option I can find is essentially an automated/robot system. I have been waiting for a response and have made multiple attempts to contact them, but I still have not received the documentation DHgate is asking for.
The package was marked as delivered, but I genuinely did not receive it. I paid almost $100 for this order, and it is extremely frustrating to be told that I cannot receive a refund simply because the delivery company is not cooperating. Even the seller does not seem to believe me when I explain that I never received the package.
DHgate needs to have a better system for situations like this. Customers should not be left without their money or their order when the carrier cannot provide proper support or documentation. There should be another way to investigate and resolve missing-package cases when the required document is impossible for the customer to obtain.

Terrible customer service
I am extremely disappointed with dhgate i paid 154$ for a watch but the seller never delivered it the seller then asked me to pay an additional 35$ to resend it i paid but instead of receiving my watch i received earbuds i have provided screenshots and proof but dhgate customer service has been extremely slow and unhelpful i paid 189$ in total and still don’t have the product i purchased very disappointing experience i do not recommend dhgate.

I missed the deadline to return the item to the seller because I followed the instructions given to me by DHgate’s own agent. I should not be penalized for a deadline that I missed as a direct result of relying on your agent’s instructions.
This is completely unacceptable and extremely frustrating. DHgate needs to take responsibility for its agent’s mistake and resolve this issue immediately.
