WASTE OF TIME
I’ve used this app for 4 years and this is my first time writing a review. This app rewards memorization rather than accuracy. Too often you can provide the correct case outcome yet the system marks it wrong even when the mistake is clearly on their side. You end up wasting hours trying to be precise only to be penalized by obvious system errors. It’s also obvious that long time users dominate the leaderboard all the time, not because they are accurate but because they’ve memorized the app’s flawed answers. They play along with the broken system, sometimes even coordinating in groups or using multiple accounts which keeps them on top. For new users, earning anything meaningful is nearly impossible. Unless you’re one of the players recycling accounts, you will barely make progress. If you’re new DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. You will struggle to earn fairly in this system especially streaks.

It’s fun especially as a nursing student im practicing through this app but there are so many times where the cases doesn’t have answers or maybe wrong answers

I really think the questions are like near impossible to get right, and definitely near impossible to get a streak. I only got 50 cents after days of trying and I couldn’t even verify my identity to withdraw because the app kept crashing when I tried…
An Amazing App!!
I usually don’t write reviews often, but I feel that it’s important that I write one for this app. I was skeptical at giving this app a try and not sure what to expect, but now I feel comfortable to share what I thought of DiagnosUs.
I really enjoyed this app and how it actually cashes out a good amount of money you earn! But it also gives you good knowledge on medicine and health, rather than most apps that only give you stress and brain rot. My most favorite were participating in the Health Info Identification contest, a little tough at first, but gets easy as you try more than once. I work at a Vet office, not the same, I know, but I did recognize some things in it. Although you don’t need to be in Medical School or work in the medical field to give this app a try.
As for cashing out, most apps would get you to earn $1.00 to $5.00 most, but after using this app, I was able to cash out twice with $40.00 to $140.00 to my PayPal, and that is the most I ever gotten in an app! Which is insane!

Unfair app
Honestly I find the app to be so inconsistent. They’re giving points out randomly and there is no mathematical explanation to the way they grade things. For some questions they will underline an answer a certain way and then for the next question they’ll underline it another way and it causes you to lose points and penalises you. Different users get different questions and it’s unfair how one person only needs to answer 2 graded questions while another has to answer multiple graded questions. Some users will get easier questions compared to others. Overall an unfair app with unfair grading. They need to work on consistency.

Fantastic
I love love LOVE this app. I love that I do not have to be a med student to use the app and compete. I also love that while earning I am also learning. It’s a win-win. My only complaint is the number of contribution questions as opposed to questions we are actually graded for seems to be in excess. Also, I’ve found incorrect graded cases which is extremely frustrating especially in a competition when you know the answer you gave to be correct yet you lose score because the platform (or AI maybe?) got it wrong. So sometimes you may lose a competition you should have won. Overall I have faith that the team over this project work diligently to make every competition fair and prevent mistakes. Unfortunately, we are human and perfection is not always possible. Excellent app and ty for the extra much needed $ I’ve been able to earn here.

Good concept, needs work
I love the concept that you can help determine medical issues and contribute your degree knowledge in that field, however there are too many questions that “AI needs help determining” when I’m just trying to learn myself, so I give bad answers because I am not yet fully sure myself. On top of that, people can give fake answers on purpose for the attempt to make it to the top of the leaderboards and earn the cash prizes. Great concept, just needs fixing. Thank you.

Love the app so far. I’d like more courses but it’s great so far.
Worth trying
Fun app. Even if you are not related to medicine, you can earn some real money. The test instructions are at times imprecise so you might have to figure things out by yourself. As for cons, it takes time to do well in the tests yet you get learn new things about medicine.
Excellent opportunity
How the funding by chance gets me, but to review the diagnostic procedures of some western medicine modalities has some extra value. I wish some of the rewards were more static and definitely reflective of a study successfully conducted here.
Needs better balance
This is a fun app and a neat way to train AI. It just needs a better balance between answers you get credit for and ones that are only for training. It’s not unusual to get 5-10 training only answers for each scored answer. That can get frustrating, especially on tasks that are time-consuming.

5 stars because I learn a lot from this app. I learned how to read ultrasounds, X-rays and EKGs. They definitely do pay you and it’s helped me pay for groceries.
Cons: Support has never contacted me back for anything and the contests with various slides keep crashing the app (small bowel identifying contest, for example).
