Excellent Service
I have been using Dial a Bottle for several years now. I have noticed that there are some bad reviews here. I just don’t understand why there are some negative reviews. I have always found the Dial a Bottle staff to be very friendly, professional, dependable and punctual. The Dial a Bottle app is also very intuitive and easy to use. I am so grateful for this service and the reasonable price they charge for delivery. It is just so convenient for everyone!

Subpar Customer Service
I had called to cancel an order as I didn’t receive an estimated delivery time on the app or my confirmation email. It was my first time using the app so I didn’t know. I called to cancel as I wasn’t sure if it’d take hours or would even be delivered the same day. The woman I spoke with continued to interrupt me (“order number, order number, what’s the order number?!!”) continuously sighed in annoyance after I had asked to cancel the order, and was overall just rude. I kept things straight to the point but it didn’t matter, she just continued to show how annoyed she was. If you’re not able to follow basic responsibilities of being in customer service, you shouldn’t have a job that requires you to do so.

Very rude staff, app is very hard to track.
Used them a few times and was willing to deal with the fact that you’re order doesn’t show up until hours later. However this time will be the last time I use this service. The customer service staff is very rude and the guy even berated me for ordering a lot of things. He actually called my order ridiculous and rudely told me that my order wouldn’t get to me for another 3 hours. There are many other drink services out there, I will be using those in the future. Not worth it at all.

It’s really bad.
First of all, just registering for the app is difficult. (Which you need to do to place an order) it said my number was in use even though I’ve never made an account before and then I had to create 5 different TextNow accounts just to find a number that worked. And then it said my email was in use and I had to use a different email. Then after all that, I finally placed my order - no confirmation so I was waiting around and my order never showed up. I waited for 2 hours. waste of time!!!!!

Poorly designed app
Just downloaded the app and tried to register an account. The text was white (or light grey) on a white background and was almost unreadable. And even after filling out all the necessary fields it would not let me register. Need a new app designer.
Fast and convenient, but app needs work
I placed my order and immediately received a confirmation email, and my order was at my door in less than an hour. Delivery driver was very nice and got exactly what I asked for.
The app was easy enough to use, but it gives you no ETA and has no way to revisit past orders, so after reading these reviews I was questioning if anyone would even show. The app definitely needs a delivery tracking system and an order history page but besides that it worked like a charm.

What just happened...?
I thought I placed an order, but then didn’t get any confirmation or ETA or anything, no email, nothing in the app to indicate I had even tried to order something? The only thing that happened is a pop up appeared that said “Dial A Bottle” and a button to press okay.... and then the entire order disappeared. I called customer service and told them what happened but I don’t think they understood what happened (or happens) with the app and just offered to reorder over the phone, but after reading the other reviews I’m worried I’ll just end up with twice my order!
They really need to fix this app and have some sort of function to view orders, or confirmation within the app.... so weird.

Best delivery service I've ever used!!!
This is by far the best delivery service I've ever used. Period. Easily a 5-star review to write. I initially called the 1-866 number to get some basic information on how the service works and they have excellent customer service staff at the call centre. I placed my first order which had some difficult to find wines and they found them no problem. I have been using them regularly ever since. They will bring me wine, liqueurs, craft beers and even stop by the convenience store for pop etc. My orders always arrive in a timely fashion and I question the people on here complaining, but I guess you can't please everybody and I realize some of these people may need their alcohol in less than an hour if they are addicted to alcohol. Even with the current Covid-19 situation I have still gotten my orders the same day! The drivers have waited in long lines for us to pick up our orders and still arrive with a smile. Kudos to a great company and the great service they provide at a competitive price point. I have now discovered they have this APP and I have been using that. It has been super user friendly! Thank you Dial-a-Bottle for keeping my drink needs looked after! Cheers!

Everytime I try to order I get a call within 5 minutes saying they’re about to close... odd service

Took just under 2 hours to get my order. Not a big deal IMO. Driver was really friendly and order was perfect. Will definitely use again. It was about 15 for the service plus tip but worth it to not leave the house - not sure why all the bad reviews. Guess I got lucky!?

I feel like ordering from this app is like ordering from the shopping network in the 90s. It really needs an overhaul considering it’s the main delivery option for alcohol in Canada. Keep up with the times!

I had sent a few emails to let the company know that I had no idea what their cost was their fees menu or when they will be getting here....
the guy was really nice I told him about not knowing anything so it got here within an hour or less than an hour.... It cost more than when i get the actual liquor plus store he got it at delivers sometimes

Don’t order from here unless you want to be ripped off
Don’t order from this company! Their drivers substitute your items, and then try to charge you for still the same price even though your replacement order cost less. Your drivers are argumentative, don’t wear their masks properly, are not social distancing at all, and are intentionally trying to rip off their customers. Stay far away from this company unless you want a rip off or a long a** delivery time

Service good, app not as good
Service was prompt and helpful, but the app has font in its info fields that are nearly inperceptable against the white background. Only critisism is that I couldn't actually read the info fields at first, just darken it and thatd be swell
