About
Dialog Factory is a live interpreter for face-to-face conversations between someone who speaks Dutch and someone who speaks English.
Put your iPhone down between you. Dutch at the bottom, English on top — upside down, so the person across the table can simply read along. Tap your button and talk: your words appear right away, large and translated, on the other side. When someone switches language, Dialog Factory follows automatically.
On your iPhone, not in the cloud
• Speech recognition and translation run entirely on your iPhone (Apple's on-device speech and translation). After a one-time download of the language models, translation even works offline.
• Conversations are stored only on your iPhone. You decide what to share or delete.
More than translation
• Mood meter: after every sentence a friendly face shows how the conversation feels — inferred from what is said, never from your voice.
• Summary in both languages: key points, agreements, open questions and the emotional arc.
• Intent analysis (optional): what does each of you really want? Pick the right interpretation and get the follow-up message you both meant.
• Look back at conversations, export them as text or JSON, and share.
Live captions for people who are hard of hearing
Switch from Interpreter to Captions (Meelezen) and everything that is said appears as large, easy-to-read captions — in Dutch or English, without translation. Two people each get their own colour (tap a line if it shows the wrong person), text size is adjustable, and there is a high-contrast mode and a flip-screen option. Captions run entirely on your iPhone and nothing is stored.
For mood, summary and intent analysis only the text is sent to Neveoh Ventures B.V.'s own Dialog Factory AI, which stores nothing. No account, no ads, no trackers.
Dialog Factory is not a certified interpreter and does not give medical, legal or psychological advice.

What's New in Dialog Factory
1.0.1
October 22, 2026
Fixes on-device translation and speech recognition: version 1.0.0 was missing the link to Apple’s on-device translation, so the app wrongly reported that the language models were unavailable.
