Unusable Eggs 1 Cup

This app is not really usable. It might be a good platform for a programmer. There is an entry for Egg. 1c not many people I know measure eggs in this fashion. A programmer could build some type on link to a real food database. $0.99 down the drain. Please use my buck to learn better app building skills.

Response from developer

When you select food, you can also select the unit you wish to use; for eggs, look under "approximate amounts" and select from the pre-defined sizes such as "small", "medium", ... "extra large". This works also for many other food items (apples, bananas). If you are entering a recipe that calls for, say 4 eggs, you will first select the egg size, then specify the number of eggs.

Bacon

Why is bacon not listed?

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback! When we select foods to include in the built-in database, we avoid those where the nutrient content tends to vary strongly from one brand to another. Bacon is one of those. In such a case, you can add bacon as a custom food item to the database, specifying the nutrient content for your specific brand of bacon (if you need help with this, then just go to the More tab and send us an email). We will also continue to monitor user feedback and add food items when appropriate. Hope this makes sense, but you're welcome to send us an email with more suggestions on this.
