The app itself is okay and not the most user-friendly, but the customer service support is nonexistent or barely there. Unfortunately, there is no better an alternative as of this writing. The people deserve better customer service support for the fees charged.

I tried the app several times after finishing filling out the application couldn’t upload it’s completely useless!!!
Horrible
They sent my passport without signature because my prior passport didn’t have one. The options they have don’t have anything listed for all the cases and they expect you to pay for it everytime they make a mistake. I’m paying together 600 something dollars to fix their mistake. Horrible service and system design and lack of accountability.

When trying to input address only the USA shows up in the drop down menu. Please fix asap!

Needs work
I am happy to be able to use an app and fill it out online instead of having to go to the embassy to get things done. Unfortunately I find it annoying that I have to redo my application every single time the app decides to log me out. Every step has to be redone which can be tiresome. Please fix this. Thank you!

Be Very Careful
This app is very helpful if used properly. Unfortunately tho we are dealing with yet another corrupt and incompetent government system that is literally stealing money in broad daylight. Apparently, if you don’t have a green card you aren’t eligible to get your Ethiopian passport renewed. YES I’m not kidding! The irony is that they ask you to fill out a form and every step seems normal then you make a payment of either $350 or $450 depending on your choice. Then comes the punch in the gut they will send you an email the next day saying your form is incomplete, because you need to provide your green card information. So if you don’t have a green card apparently you are not eligible to get a passport renewal yes you read that right! It’s a complete joke on citizens that reside in the United States without being a green card holder. Why do you charge people money first and then ask for the green card requirement! They tell you to get a support letter from the embassy which is a joke since they don’t respond to email or phone calls. THIS IS A STATE SPONSORED CORRUPTION DESIGNED NOT TO HELP CITIZENS BUT STEAL THEIR MONEY IN A BROAD DAYLIGHT! People if you are not a Green Card holder please be very aware do not complete the payment you will never see your money again and you will not get any support letter from the embassy. It’s a spider web of corruption! Absolutely pathetic service!

Need help on renewing my passport online please!
Ethiopia is not on the list for the question of which country you currently reside in? Is that means we can’t renew our passport on Digital Invea or is there another option to renew the passport online ?

Please be cautious they will make you pay $400 or $500 first and if for some reason you are unable to finish application. They will not refund you at all. Many customers have been complaining about this. There is a class action Lawsuit against vidtrue.INC in the U.S for stealing customers money. Be aware please.

Keeps crashing very buggy looks like scam
This app keeps crashing and I have to start over again all the time. There is no support contact and no clear instructions about what fingerprint card to use.

This is one of the worst apps for being user friendly. Having this as the only option for important issues for a Country is embarrassing. Giving only option to redo the whole form and unable to continue from my documents show the incompetence of this app and whoever is responsible.

Impressive change
In 2019, the requirements to renew the yellow card was to reapply. It was unpleasant experience to witness how some employees were treated when they advocated for the truth. My yellow card was unscathed clean. The people who wanted to make the new government look bad, insisted that I should bring my old passport from the early 90s. I was able to provide, but I had to make about 6 visits to the embassy.
This app is a game changer! No need to face unhappy politicians in the embassy!

Yellow card/processing is too long
The app works fine but the processing time for yellow card online is extremely long. It’s also difficult to get yellow card in person at ADIS. The building with INVEA logo should process all INVEA related documents but when you show up they direct you to another place which directs you to other end of the city.
