Worst customer experience service
Terrible experience with Digital MOFA Ethiopia. I spent days trying to reach them, and most of the time my calls went unanswered. Even when I managed to speak with someone, I received no clear information or timeline.
I was repeatedly told that my case had been completed, yet I never received the PDF document by email. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Avoid using it!
My experience with the Digital MOFA EPOA application process was extremely disappointing.
The system experienced repeated technical issues and delays, which resulted in multiple drafts being created and duplicate charges being processed. Even more concerning, the final documents contained name errors that made them unusable for their intended legal purpose.
After providing supporting documentation to correct the error, I was informed that corrections could not be made and that refunds would not be issued. As a customer, I found it frustrating to pay for a service that produced inaccurate documents and offered no clear resolution process.
I strongly encourage applicants to carefully review every detail before submitting and to keep copies of all receipts, application numbers, and supporting documents. Based on my experience, resolving errors after submission can be difficult and time-consuming.
I hope the Ministry improves the system, strengthens quality control, and establishes a fair process for correcting mistakes and addressing duplicate payments so future applicants do not face the same challenges.

Disappointed
For registration, does not accept the region Phone number for our current region, they should have kept some other alternative way to register.plus to resubmit it will take you total different location. This is waste of money in time.

The app kept crashing when I used an iPhone. It worked much better when I tried it with an Android phone.

Useless app
Very poor experience. I tried to authenticate my son’s birth certificate, but the app does not work at all. It wastes time and provides no clear guidance when something goes wrong. This service is essential, and the app is unreliable. It needs urgent improvement.

This won’t even allow me to register. Clearly shows lack of QC. Spent literally an hour and customer support to even sign up. Then my POA keeps getting rejected because they want me A)to say I am American on an official document when American literally could mean people from north, central and South America. Technically and linguistically uninformed. The absolute worst part? Once rejected, the entire application resets from zero.
No edit option. No saved progress. Just two hours lost. You can’t tell me this app developer was the most competent! This is at most a V1 iteration not a final product that should be advertised a government agency.

Poor Responsiveness and Unprofessional Handling
I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received. Despite multiple clear communications requesting that my POA application be placed on hold and revised to incorporate both the General POA and the specific POA details, my concerns were repeatedly ignored.The application continued to proceed without addressing my requests, which shows a lack of attention to client instructions and poor internal communication. This situation has caused unnecessary stress and frustration, especially considering the matter was clearly marked as high priority.

Fast service
First time i used digital Mofa I had amazing experience. it was so fast service . my brother received power of attorney less than 24hr in Ethiopia. Anyone who wanna use this app it worth every penny i just wanna say thank you so much keep it up.
AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS!!
I submitted a Power of Attorney application through this app on August 1. The promised processing time was 24–48 hours, but it has now been weeks with no update. I followed up multiple times and even re-sent all required documents, but there has been no written response or resolution.
The lack of communication and accountability makes this app very unreliable. Important legal processes should not be left in limbo like this. Until major improvements are made in responsiveness and transparency, I strongly advise others to avoid relying on this app.

I tried registering to get started but the app keeps asking to confirm my email and phone number but it doesn’t work. It does not register or let sign in. It’s a loop

If I could give zero stars I would. Impossible to contact them for help and the only number listed is for WhatsApp that doesn’t get answered, and application keeps getting rejected with no information as to why or how to fix it. When you go back to make edits you have to start all over again. Also middle name is required which it should not be. I feel like they stole 217 dollars from me. Stay away from this app it should be deleted from the App Store.

This service will take your money without getting a service. They have zero customer service. You cannot find anyone to help you. All the customer service phone numbers which are in Ethiopia are switched off. It is impossible to find any solution except give up and physically go to the embassy nearby. Save yourself a heartache please don’t give your hard earned money to thieves.
