This app has turned me into an accidental social coordinator. I thought I was planning one dinner, and suddenly I’m orchestrating dinners any time my family wants to get together in the city 🙈😩 Highly recommend if you enjoy good food and minimal effort.
Amazing Concept, Beautifully Executed!
First of all, I really love the concept of a dinner party at a restaurant. Getting a group of friends together for a great meal without the hassle of having to do it at home it’s just brilliant! Not to mention that, let’s face it, restaurants can just make the whole experience so much better.
Secondly, every time I’ve tried to make a reservation for more than six people at a restaurant in New York it’s turned into a painful experience. This app takes all that away. All I had to do was pick a restaurant, select from one of a number of great menus, and have the system send it off to the folks that I wanted to join me. It dealt with everything – RSVPs, reminders, and payment. The restaurant sent a surprise quotation mark flourish to the table quotation mark, which generated a whole bunch of impressed looks from my friends.
Lastly, we all loved not having to deal with check splitting. We just got up when we were ready to go. It reminded me of the first few times I took an Uber and just got out of the car without having to open my wallet. Way cool!
I realize I’m gushing a bit, and I probably sound like I work for the company or something. But it really was a wonderful experience. If you New Yorker who likes to get together with a bunch of people over an amazing meal, you have to try this. You’ll thank me! 😄
