Bad Quality and More expensive than original Careers.
Here’s a honest review from a platinum level Dingtone user since 2017. I use the numbers for registrations and verifications to avoid spam calls and the services to communicate with acquaintances.
The price increase of phone numbers from $4.99 to $23.99 and text charges from 0.5 credits to 3.5 Credits.
The call quality became really bad these days, i barely hear anything even on speaker. Weak signals, poor reception and a hopeless customer care.
Awareness!!
Do not believe the “0.5 credits per text” rule, that is completely false. it is actually 3.5 credits per text and some regions are 6 credits per text.
Take note!!
1 text = 145 characters
So sending a paragraph or a long text message could cost you 20 credits or more.
Caution!!
There’s a built in glitch that sends your messages twice or multiple times, if you mistakenly hit the send ➡️ button twice or multiple times. The action is usually delayed, So it’s technically designed to drain your credits.
Warning!!!
Do not buy phone numbers with Apple subscription because they charge the equivalent amount in credit yearly and you end up paying twice.

Unreliable app
This app has to be one of the most unreliable and expensive app.. I paid for subscription and still pay to make calls.. and you can’t even give me a good connection to receive and make calls.. I have been trying to make call for some hours now and it keep saying server unavailable try again later I could not even receive text or send text out that how bad it is.. and they have zero customer care service no number to call only twitter and they don’t even response.. emailed them and no response also.. logout my digntone account and tried to login back but it won’t work or even send code to my email to login.. so frustrating y’all just take people money and offer mid and unreliable service…

Very bad prodaction
I purchased the monthly subscription of Dingtone for $7.99 to make international calls to China. However, every outgoing call fails with the error "Server busy, please try again later". I have tried restarting the app, switching Wi-Fi, turning off VPN and reinstalling the app multiple times, but none of these fixes work. The paid calling function is completely unusable, so I request a full refund for this subscription fee.

Not working
Got a number on the app and have been unable to register it for a WhatsApp for days now
Not good for use.
Basically I m regular user of this kind of apps which one should provide us a temporary number for use to all our needs without any specific providers. We just need some data connection for use them. So that I use it for most of time. But I didn’t get a good results for use of this app. Even I’m paying money for additional services too. It’s not good as compared to other platforms as we can’t use it same as personal number or as a private account too.

Annoying calls ALL THE TIME
It is honestly super annoying the amounts of calls I get per day from spammers. And the only way to block them is to pay 100 credits a year!! I think I’m giving it up

Not bad but not good enough
So I’m a 12 yr old going in to 7th grade and I don’t have a phone so I use my iPad for most stuff and I like to call my family and friends sometimes and most of them don’t answer but when I called my dad he told me that the caller ID said potential spam then I called my mom and she said the same thing (after she got really mad and started cussing at me and then she realized that it was me but everything is so far so good except the part where the caller ID says potential spam.)

They removed my number after I bought credits so now I can’t use them unless I pay more for a new number, which doesn’t use credits. So I wasted my money on a useless product
App works occasionally
When it works, it does what it is supposed to do. But there are too many bugs, sometimes even making it impossible to enter numbers or select from recent calls because the screen is blocked. In general, disappointing expensive experience

You do NOT get a free number the only thing thats free is app user to app user… stick with whats app on that note.

I paid to renew my number, but I received an auto-reply saying, “We’re sorry that the number is occupied.” My Austrian number expired on June 12, and I had 10 days to reclaim it. This is unacceptable, and I want it resolved. What's going on? Please fix it or refund me so I can take my business elsewhere. There was no way to contact customer service. The same thing happened three months ago, and I had to get a new number. Please fix this now.
