If you are reading this then you play or are interested in playing Disc Golf. Disc Finder is a great companion app to the sport. It is one of the first apps I downloaded when I started playing and have continued to use it over a year. Helps to visually organize the discs you have which then helps me to pick a disc for the right throw. Love it to decide on potential future disc brands and molds with the large, always updating, catalog of discs to find.

Downloaded the app after I uploaded all my disk, I had a question so I emailed contact us through the app and within less than 24 hours I received a response and an answer to my question. Thank you.

The best!

Honestly, the best Disc app out there, the one time pro purchase and the great features in the free version are amazing. Definitely such a good app. I wish when you remove a disc in the free version the count would go up but other that that it’s perfect

Subscription deal breaker

I’d be interested in subscribing if you provided user data. For example what people are bagging (add if they BH or FH the disc) and their rating of the disc (with plastic type). I think helping people find popular discs is valuable due to not wasting money on discs they might not throw.

Disc Finder’s core values are centered around longevity, privacy, full offline functionality, no account requirement, no AI, and absolutely no ongoing subscriptions. I believe the overwhelming majority of users appreciate this approach. That said, I’m always interested in ways to implement improvements within the confines of those values. Feel free to reach out with any ideas that could be considered in the future.

I really appreciate this app and enjoy using it. I would like to see better implementation of the camera and improved use! My photos are auto rotating and it’s making it nearly impossible for me to really “inventory” all the discs I use. I’ve given up on photos for now! Please fix!

UPDATE: Thanks for your review and for noticing the improvements. More refinements are on the way. It sounds like you are trying to import photos from Android. Disc Finder supports cross-platform inventory management. Please update to the latest version and create a new export file, then import it on the other platform. Check it out and revisit this review to confirm whether everything is working properly.

Absolutely Incredible App For Beginners

As someone who is just getting into disc golf, I have a hard time keeping track of my discs and how each one flies. This app has been amazing since it lets me compare flights of each of my discs. If I’m trying to figure out how to shape a shot, I’ll pull out the app and compare a couple of discs to find the best option. I would 100% recommend this app! Plus, I have yet to find a disc that the app doesn’t have in its database, unlike the previous app I tried.

Being able to compare flights side by side and quickly figure out the right disc for a shot is a core part of the experience. The database is designed to be the most comprehensive and up-to-date out there, so you don’t run into missing discs, like other apps. Glad it’s helping you make better decisions on the course.

Awesome

Sure it takes some time to get everything put in if you already have a collection, but once you have it all in there the app is so much fun to use. Love having one app to track everything, and getting bag reports is an amazing feature when looking for slots to fill. I took an hour or so every couple days and got everything put in, glad I did!

Great app!

Love being able to have a catalog of my discs and organize into family bags. The report feature is great to visualize what gaps may have and the ability to compare to other discs is very handy. Developer is very responsive to questions as well. Pro version is well worth it and appreciate lack of subscription.

Great app for inventory

Great app to keep track of your discs. Even records colors, weight, plastic. Shows on a spreadsheet where each disc falls so you can identify holes and where you have too many of one type. Great app!

Awesome Utility

Great for finding new discs to fill gaps in my bag and cataloging what I do have. Use it to help plan my next course as well in terms of what discs I might throw.

Great App Except!

I love this app with all of its features but I tried restoring my Pro App and it charged me the full $5.99 a second time even though I had already purchased it days before. I would really like the developer to contact me and make this right.

Organization for those that need it.

I usually would grab a bunch of discs and go play. Now as I get better, I have a way to keep track of my discs and how they fly. Setting bags up is easy and having a picture of each disc in a bag is very helpful. Many discs do not have flight numbers and this helps keep track of them.
