What's New in DiscList

1.1

June 17, 2026

Version 1.1 brings a new look and one fix that matters. • A warmer, more editorial design: new fonts throughout, tidier lists, and proper sleeve placeholders for the occasional release that has no cover art on Discogs. • A fix to the album count. Bonus and companion discs like "In Rainbows Disk 2" were sometimes showing up as missing albums. They don't anymore, so your missing count matches what you're actually trying to track down. The first time you open this version, the app re-checks your saved release classifications once to apply the fix. Your collection, wantlist, starred titles and hunting notes stay exactly as they were.

User reviews

came from reddit post !

i was interested in this, i think it’s a very good idea on paper but execution could’ve been better. having trouble finding the “turn off” setting, so the missing pieces of an artists discography are hidden .. which i thought seeing what pieces you don’t have was kinda the point of the app?? i also wish there was an option to see and know what vinyl variants you need to complete.

Response from developer

Hi there, thank you for trying the app. I have released an update 1.0.7 which includes a tightening of the album filter. The intent is that - first, it loads all of the titles that you don't have as 'missing' - then the extra filter I have built in will sort through these items and try and categorise them so just the full-length albums should be left (it's not perfect, but I am constantly working on improving!). The intent is that this leaves JUST the albums showing as missing. To see ALL items you don't currently own you de-select the orange "Albums" pill which should bring back all the non-album titles to see (same with Live & Comp). I am working on some new features - one will be to focus on a specific format, for example if you only collect vinyl it will "ignore" the fact you own a title on CD for example, so you can continue to focus on the titles you are missing on vinyl. At present if you own a title on CD then it won't show you are missing that title. Another option I would like to work on is the variants aspect as you mention. The idea will be that if you own a specific pressing on vinyl and you are a variant collector - you can track and collect the same title across different pressings. Hopefully that is what you are thinking, because I did have that on the to do list! Thanks again for trying the app and leaving a review.
