Wasting our precious time
The content is not great. It’s a lot of random chronological facts of when something was built, damaged, rediscovered, restored, etc. I find my mind losing attention. Wasted our precious time on our vacation. Ended up switching to Rick Steve’s and it was much better.

Awful AI Voice
The AI voice is so fake I can hardly bear to listen to it - and it cannot correctly pronounce the name of major historical figures. Content seems ok. Usability of the map is poor. Overall not worth the money
Waste of download
You only get access to a tiny part of the first audio guide before it makes you pay to access the rest. What’s horrible all
Pretty good!
Happy with this app, worked well for the coliseum and Roman forum. I recommend it if you don’t have a tour guide. You can also wait for your groups to come around and listen in on them too but this was very nice!
Total waste of money
Didn’t work at all, started out glitchy then just got a blank screen. Tried contacting help - also didn’t work. Tried reinstalling but it wanted me to pay again. Just get the official guide.

Great app
This is a really useful app - especially since I wasn’t able to see every part of the forum, so I could read up on things I missed later on. I really like that there is a transcript of each recording.
The gps location aspect doesn’t work well, so you have to click around to find the correct recordings. The recordings could be improved with pictures, to clarify what it is talking about. I’m glad I bought this!

Thanks for your feedback YansyListy, we are happy that you enjoyed our guides. GPS issues might be due to the scarce coverage in certain areas, but we'll investigate them. Unfortunately the Italian law doesn't easily allow the commercial usage of monument pictures pictures, but we are examining alternatives.

Very useful during our visit at the roman forum. I paid for the full guide, worth it.
Great free guided tour
My wife rented the official audio guide, but it wasn’t easy to share it so I purchased Discover Roman Forum: it’s much better than the official guide, much more interesting, with a lot of curiosities and legends, while the official one is a bit too didactic and boring. Best purchase of the day

Better than the official guide
We downloaded this app after doing the line for the official guide: they asked us to leave our ID, incredible! Why would I trust a stranger with my password? We went away and downloaded this guide, which is really good and even cheaper
