Update broke app
Found this app nice to have before. Latest update doesn’t work, though.
New update
Ever since your new update your app isn’t going as good. And yes i say that boldly. It’s slow to up load, sometimes I have to close the app out and open it again. It doesn’t connect to channels once the app is up and running. I pay a lot of money each month for this? What are you going to do about it? Please don’t tell me it’s my cell phone provider. Or my data. Because all my other apps, including my streaming apps work just fine. It’s your problem not mine.

It would be nice if it worked…
There are countless times that I have tried to use this app, and there’s always some kind of “technical error” and when you try to talk to customer service about it, they are helpful, but there’s never a solution. I might switch to YouTube TV solely for the convenience and the fact that I know that their app works.

Latest update bricks it
Confirmed with customer service that the latest update bricked the app. Web version still works for me. Normally this is a fantastic service but now it has an indeterminate time of when it will work again.

I downloaded recently and it didn’t work. It kept saying close and restart. I tried that multiple times and it never opened. Do better Dish. Beware.

I have tried everything and the app has crashed and won’t restart now we can’t access any channels
Update broke app
Your previous update severely reduced the info available about shows we were going to watch. The latest ‘update’ completely broke the app. Now I just get an error message telling me that there is a problem with the app and I should wait a minute and try again.
Not a fan of the updated app!
This new app crashes a lot. I haven’t bern able to get it to open for the last day or so since the new Apple update
Not ready for prime time
The app does not connect well to airplay devices. Inconsistent staying connected. Cannot watch local channels on Dish Anywhere if you are away from home. Limits sporting events as a result. Must have Hopper connected to WiFi to use, even if you are 2 hours away! Makes no sense to need connected Hopper. Right now, Dish Anywhere belongs in the “hopper”! Don’t get Dish planning to use the app away from home.

Where is the remote
I don’t like this update i now can’t control my hoppers through the dish anywhere app
Less control/ less options
I used to be able to control any of the joeys in my house and now can only control the main unit. The guide used to allow genre search on the guide that is no longer there.
A step backwards…
I regularly use the Dish Anywhere app to set things to record, but as of the recent update, I can no longer set a recording to go long from the app. It’s also gotten rid of my defaults like setting all sporting events to record an hour longer. I was a fan of this app before these recent updates and won’t be able to use it going forward.

Awful new update
The new update is awful. The menu guide is so hard to follow. The stations that I always watch are no longer the featured ones so that I can quickly select them. Shows that I have absolutely no interested in show up. The whole format is NOT USER FRIENDLY!! Please go back to the previous guide format.

Changes
PLEASE put the dates back on DVR recordings !!!! No dates makes it IMPOSSIBLE to find the recording you want. Not all change is good!!!!!!
Hate the new update
I am unable to mute while i am watching tv (sometimes i mute the ads) i am unable to find my show king of the hill on demand anymore and when i just exit the app to answer a call or watch a quick video someone sent, it just keeps playing, when before i was able to either mute or pause even if it was live.

Poor streaming
If I could I’d rate this app lower. It’s always buffering no matter what network I’m using. It’s not useable at all!
Lousy update!!
I liked the older versions sorting options which are now gone. Movies, sports, news etc etc…
This update is not an improvement in my opinion. I liked being able to sort what movies were available at a given time without having to scroll through the entire channel list! Same with sports programming!

Stopped Working
After latest update on iPad Air 2 app now crashes and will not connect and stream from Hopper. Deleted and reinstalled but still won’t play live or dvr.
