App Update is Awful
The recent update is terrible. Makes finding what you want to challenging. Things are missing, such as ability to view episodes on demand from others taped on DVR. It’s soooo slow. Fast forward is a pain. Really poor update and not user friendly. Revert back please!!!!
Worst App
The app had its problems but you could eventually get it to work. Now it does NOT WORK. The videos do not play. It is like watching a bunch of screen shots. If I could give this update negative stars it would be minus 10. There is no way this application was tested on any device. What a horrible experience.

Lost Functionality With Update
I used to be able to use the app for remote control for either the main receiver or the Joey. The latest big app update took away the Joey receiver as a choice. I really want that functionality back. Please help!
Buffering after latest update
The Dish Anywhere app was working flawlessly for quite a while since I moved to my new apartment in June. Recently there was an update, and now it buffers, freezes, and skips constantly. Also, there had been times when another show would suddenly pop up while I’m watching another show, so I would have 2 audios while watching one show. This is weird, not fun, and I’ve about had it with this app. Dish, if you read this, please fix the issue or I will have no choice but go back to internet streaming and cut the cord.

MAJOR bugs in update
This is my first ever review and normally, I love Dish Anywhere and it is one of my most used apps, but this new update has MAJOR bugs. More than half of the time I try to click a button (i.e. the back button) it won’t work. I have to shut down the app and reopen it which is a pain and sometimes causes other issues. When I try to go forward on a show, it won’t show me how many seconds I’m going forward like the old version. And when I try to go forward through commercials, it won’t even go forward anymore. So I’m stuck watching commercials. I’m also getting a huge issue where my recorded shows will get stuck at one spot and not move forward. For example if I have one show from one channel recorded and it freezes, I can put on a different show and the frozen part of the other show will pop up. This is honestly very frustrating and while I appreciate the new look of the update, it works significantly worse. I really hope Dish can see this and reverse or better yet fix the update.
