Didn’t Find Reservation
I downloaded the app as I wanted to change a reservation that was made through it but after the download it found previous bookings but didn’t show or give me an opportunity to add my current one. Not a great start.
No sign up option
No option to create an account with email on iPhone so totally unusable
Terrible app
Made a booking. So decided to download the app. It doesn’t have an option to sign into account. So trying to create the account it just freezes. Doesn’t move forward. Awful app
Truly awful
Not sure what was wrong with Res Diary which worked perfectly. This “app” shows zero availability in the restaurants local to me even when there is availability showing on the web. Useless. Now won’t even allow a next day search!!!
Great for booking a short notice evening meal.
Love it. So easy and convenient to use.
Broken and Irritating
The iPhone app, in my opinion, is an embarrassment or disgrace. Your search is so bad and. frustrating that I can’t decide whether it was built by an intern as a university project and never fixed - or designed to operate this way on purpose so that you display more search results even though they are not the results users want. The application is actually broken on iPhone and has been for months. You cannot actually set the TIME THAT YOU WANT TO EAT WHEN SEARCHING FOR A RESTAURANT. Fix your software at least - and then, if you care even a little bit about users, improve its quality from trash to useable at least. If the problem is that you just don’t care then sell to someone who does. If you have zero talent in your dev team then have a little Google and search for this new tool called “AI” - you might heave heard of it. It’s a great new way for unskilled people to put decent software out into the world. Give it a try - really.

Currently broken
The app is currently broken on an IPhone 15 Pro running latest IOS 26. You simply can not change time or number of diners. Touching the options does nothing and then the app crashes. I have deleted and reinstalled with no difference.
When it works it’s good but….
I cannot get the app to work after trying many refreshes and uninstalling and reinstalling. I’ve even tried contacting support but that doesn’t work either!
Unable to change date
The app consistently keeps crashing, it will not allow date changes and says invalid date when clicking another date
Was Great
But now it’s unusable. Can’t change dates or look for restaurants in advance so defeats the whole point of the app. Pretty sure this is linked to ResDiary so any restaurant using their system is losing out on bookings.
Does not work
This app has been broken for a few months. Unable to change the time when searching . So only shows the restaurants that are open at the time of your search. Not great if you’re searching for an evening reservation first thing in the morning.
Great-ish
Used the app for a particular restaurant in London and allowed me to change dates and future reservations. it worked really well for existing reservations. However when trying to look for a restaurant in London, when not in London and on a date three days in advance it can’t handle it. Says dates are invalid and consistently gives me search results for where I am now, which is 40 miles away from London. I found OpenTable to be a better app.

Just don’t work
I used it all the time but the last month it just doesn’t work and can’t sign in the help page and help contact doesn’t work neither. I would not recommend this app now . It was brilliant but no more , now I have signed in it will not let me change the time or how many people. It’s a shame as I use to always use this app . 1 star is 1 to many as no one wants to sort it out or even respond to my email

Update January 2026: deleted and downloaded the app, but it still crashes as soon as I choose the number of diners or the time. Completely unusable.

Completely unusable on iPhone
Now doesn’t work at all on iPhone.. can’t change time, date or number of people..

This app is practically unusable. I couldn’t even login on iPad os, and iOS was only working with one login method.
Cannot change time on app and app frequently crashes
The time selector no longer responds so I’m stuck trying to book a time based on the current time, even when you search for restaurants and then try and change the time there is no response. The the app frequently crashes
