Not much information

This app has almost no information about any of its sites. It is hard to find exactly where it is. It’s just not a very good app. Do yourself a favor and pass this one up.

Nope, instantly charged my account. So many ‘hidden gems’ are just regular pay campsites. Eh.

Hard to use and not enough information to warrant a paid version.

I find the map legend difficult to decipher. I don’t think a paid version of this is gonna be very helpful. There’s no information about cell phone signal strength in the paid version. That’s a real key component for me.

Mostly Paid Sites

I got really excited when I opened this app started seeing tons of free labeled hidden gems! Come to find out not a single one of the places I found on the app was actually free, just regular paid campsites. I’m sure there are locations where this app works better, but from my testing the info’s not reliable.

Your app is amazing! I wish I had more money to donate or something but the fact that you are putting the hidden gems into the free tier just made me so happy. I hope this is a lucrative app that takes off for you because I had a great time using it this spring with my girlfriend, and it was super useful!

Meh

Might was well call this app 4x4, way too many are only accessible with high clearance vehicles. Also I ran into a few that are “no overnight camping”

We do our best to validate all data in Dispersed, but sometimes we miss things or users submit something inaccurate. Please report data inaccuracies with the flag tool on the campsites card as we have an active moderation pool that fixes these issues when reported. As far as high clearance issues, much of the public land in the USA is quite remote, be sure to use the camping road layer and satellite views to plan accordingly!
