I love this app. It is so easy to use. The range of measurements and options is brilliant. As an avid flight simmer I find this app an easy and convenient aid to flight planning. The placement and moving of waypoints is so simple as changing the types of measurements.

Needs to calculate bearings

If great circle progressively changing bearings are too much, then direct bearing from start point to end point. This would be much more useful that way.

This application allows you to measure the great-circle distance between two or more points (waypoints) on a map. It can also calculate the surface area of a polygon defined by three or more waypoints. An internet connection is required as it utilizes online maps.

How do I use the measurement features?

To set a new waypoint, tap and hold on the map. You can access options to read the manual, change map types, or adjust measuring units (kilometers, miles, feet, yards, nautical miles) via the options icon. Tapping the calculated measurement at the bottom allows you to switch between metric and imperial units.

Is this app free to use?

Yes, the app is free to use. The Pro version is identical in functionality but removes advertisements, which are present in the free version.

What units of measurement are supported?
