Support sucks
It’s been two months now with getting absolutely nowhere. I wish I didn’t pay for a full year. I cannot remove my release. Horrible and slow customer service. I will NEVER use this service again. Absolutely atrocious. Contacted support through chat. Not helpful for my issue. Contacted email support. Again, not helpful to my specific issue and they gave me an automatically generated generic response that did not apply to my situation. I tried to accomplish this on both the iOS app as well as using my computer on their desktop website. Completely unacceptable. I tried taking my release off of my account and it wouldn’t let me due to it requiring a password for verification. I don’t have a regular password since I log in with my Google account which was not an option for verification to delete my release. Either include Gmail account verification or offer a two-step authorization via your phone with text. This shouldn’t be such a hassle and that difficult. If it doesn’t get fixed soon I will cancel my subscription and go with another distributor. Again my reasoning for that is the inferior release removal setup and the lack of proper support.

Totally recommend this app if you wanna release your own songs. That’s what I did with this app. And with short amount of time, I’ve already gotten a good amount of songs released and published thanks to this wonderful app!! Definitely use it!!!

Absolute scam since AI
Have been using DistroKid for years. I recently got my entire account banned. People can claim any beats and anything on you, and DistroKid’s lame terms of service and horrible customer service basically allow anybody to strike you, and even if it is a faulty strike or settled, they don’t care. 2 strikes and you’re banned. Say goodbye to all of your music and hard, honest work. Would never recommend them

Distrokid system is very slow,i already paid for my subscription but it’s keep asking me to pay if not my music will go offline,suddenly my music erased from Spotify only but I already paid the subscription fee.this person behind this app is stealing peoples money,my earning still stay the same even when my streaming number are huge.dont use this app try other app.i hundred percent don’t recommend this app.i been using distrokid for 4 years now and it’s pissing me off.

Horrible
No access to the account. Continues to charge me. Will not refund my money. Says I must’ve canceled my account first. I cannot cancel my account when I don’t have access to it because it freezes up. Stay away. Don’t even come near this app. I’m going through the process of having my credit card company block them at this point. I reached out to them and continue to just get generic responses telling me the same thing over and over.

Pretty awesome to upload music, but..
I wish you could get the ability to get animated album covers uploaded, or fullscreened album covers that full on change your background to the animated background when used
