So far so good. The only thing, I hate about this app is you don’t any info / stats. On the first plan. Not even how many times ur song has been played. You need upgrade to see that. With the exchange rate the prices are a lot.
Unauthorized Charges
I’m going to have to contest the automatic unauthorized charges with Apple because this app isn’t allowing me to get in touch with an agent.

Great until you need help
My music was left on a processing for ridiculously long. I asked for help with customer service and got nowhere. I’ve now cancelled my account with them and moved to Ditto. Hopefully this will be better. I do not recommend distrokid based on the lack of customer service alone.

I guess it’s a five star because every single time I’ve dealt with DistroKid it’s always time to make sure everything was good and I appreciate that I wish to continue my business with DistroKid and distribute my music and further on thank you DistroKid and hopefully 2026 help me release more music

So pleased with the ease of being able to release my original content on streaming platforms. Distrokid has allowed me the opportunity to achieve a lifelong dream without having to compromise myself to fit into the boxes that traditional record labels put artists through. Most of what I earn will come to me and not gobbled up by a big record company because I did this independently. Horrendous
I really wanted to like DistroKid, but my experience has been incredibly frustrating. I uploaded my first release and ran into an artist name issue before it went live. I cancelled the release so I could change the name, but my account became locked to the old artist name with no way to fix it myself.
I’ve been trying to get support for around a month. Most responses have been automated or unhelpful, and my issue still hasn’t been resolved. As a result, I haven’t been able to release my first song despite paying for the service.
The distribution features may be good when everything works, but if you run into a problem that requires human support, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
