New Release
Update: This disaster continues. After checking back multiple times I saw today that there was a new release that promised to fix the issue of recovering the loss of existing data. But it was not to be. I get a message that the file was found but can’t be recovered. It tells me to send a “sysdiagnose” so they can investigate but that’s not possible, of course, because support is not available for this app. What a failure by the developer

Glad you went to iCloud. But really upset that all of my existing entries are now gone. Very poorly implemented.

Update removed ALL my dittos
I see no way to contact the developer, so have no option but to put my huge issue in a review. I have used this app for several years and created hundreds of texts for use in virtual group events. The app automatically updated and ALL of my content disappeared— it is like a brand new app was installed. Going to a cloud system is great, something I have wanted for ages. But how could you do that with no means to backup existing data? What a horrible shock, I and many friends lost hours upon hours of work that must be recreated from scratch. Terrible move.

You just erased all of my Dittos
Have been using this since it came out. Had DOZENS of ditto for business, pleasure, & logistics sorted by category.
All gone now.
Will be asking on social media Alex if you backed it up before you erased all of our work.

Latest update deleted all of my shortcuts.
As the title says, the latest update deleted all of my shortcuts without warning. I use this app for repetitive messages and in game messages. I’m very disappointed that this happened.
Lost everything
I’ve used this app for years and all of a sudden they did an update and 100+ of my links and everything I had organized - completely disappeared!!!!!! No notice or anything! No way to find it either
What happened?!
I’ve used this for over a year for work purposes!!! Everything has disappeared! I use this keyboard daily and you have the audacity to charge $20 for this app??? What happened??
Your update just erased all 50 of my custom shortcuts
This update is the worst. It completely reset the app to original settings and erased all my custom shortcuts. I’m really fuming right now.
So disappointed with the update
I’ve been using this app for years for my business. I have spent so much time perfectly crafting my text flow. I go to use it today and all of my saved replies are suddenly wiped clean from the update. I realize this is not the developers “problem” but learn from my mistake and save a backup of your text. Before this update I was not given that opportunity and I don’t even know what I’m missing now. As a small business owner in an economy that is already kicking my butt, this was the last thing I needed.

LOST ALL DITTOS!
Been a long time user of this Ditto app. I woke up this morning to discover all of my carefully saved Ditto’s vanished without explanation. No I’m left frustrated and with zero desire to put them back out of fear that it could happen again with this app what annoys me the most is there’s nothing showing anywhere for me to simply tap to retrieve them. They’re just gone.

Finally a Dark Mode
I’ve used this app for almost 10 years and haven’t found anything similar. The one pain point I always had was it only having light mode. Now with dark mode released May 17, 2026, the app is what I wished for for the last decade.
Too bright!!
The keyboard needs settings for colors or dark mode. I use this a lot, and it’s very painful at night when my phone is in dark mode but this keyboard is just blinding me. It would be a small but amazing change!
Ditto
Good app, saves a lot of time. It would be nice if I could edit on my mac.
A promising concept
Whilst many apps have started offering saved phrases, it is much better to have a single app with a variety of options for the standard replies used in our day-to-day lives.
I have raved about this app and the concept for many years but recently having reset my phone have found that the content is not backed up to iCloud.
This needs an overhaul to bring encrypted backup functionality.

Reliable, but no iCloud sync or Mac app
Been using this for a few years on my iPhone and iPad. It has been reliable and very useful once you put all your content in. (Note: I’ve never needed to use the categories feature.)
My main gripe is that it doesn’t support iCloud syncing, so I have to go and manually make the same updates to my text strings across multiple devices.
Secondarily, there’s no Mac app, so I have to use a different app, which just adds another device to update.

Disappointed
I purchased and downloaded, followed the directions to allow full access but I am still unable to access this. Only an investment of $.99 which was great if I was able to use it. Unable to find a way to reach out to support for help.
Fantastic, but....
This app has been wonderful for my small business! I can’t tell you how much time it saves me when talking with customers. However, I have a work phone and personal phone and the app doesn’t NOT save my text from one phone to another when I launch the app in a different phone. PLEASE do an upgrade so people could login and it saves their keyboard saved text settings regardless of the phone used. Game changer!!

Does not support Family Sharing, event though it says it does in app page... either a bug or the app is not compatible with family share.

Love this app! I just wish it would sync between iPad and iPhone so I didn’t forget to edit on each device.

This is actually a very useful app to me and it really helps me with everything. I don’t use it as a quick response app although it seems like that would be very useful. I personally use this for making cool agar.io names and being able to paste it without it telling me I am not allowed to! I also use this for sites where I can not paste things. Positive feedback would be: see if possible to make it a bit more exciting or like add cool animations for when you click on things and not feel like a tiny but awkward👍🏻
