Way better than groupme
My fraternity started using Dive Chat instead of GroupMe and it is vastly better. The app runs so much smoother. It feels natural to use. Most of the chapter was skeptical at first because change is hard, but we all are very impressed!
A godsend for my friend group!
We were using basic iMessage for the longest and it was so annoying to create separate GCs for every topic (e.g. a single concert or stargazing group for repeat events). plus POLLS! we can finally have easy agreement/headcounts on dates that work for events!
I do wish there were some extra features:
* Hide events you have declined - seems like an easy filter. I don't want to see all the events I can't/don't want to go to on my Dive calendar. I also don't want those events to go onto my synced Apple calendar.
* Pin events to a specific channel - e.g. pending stargazing events could be pinned to the stargazing channel so they're easily found by members (similar to attachments being accessible from the chat's info).
* Chat on event pages - there's already a feed on events for responses and people can write comments there; I wish we could also converse on the event itself apart from those responses. It would help with figuring out logistics for an event with just attendees, rather than having all of that conversation in the larger chat.
* Share event administration - I've made events on behalf of others and wish I could "pass it over" (at least I haven't found a way to do it...) or share it with another person.
All around, love this app! It's been a big answer to my groupchat prayers 🤙

Great for rec sports leagues
My soccer team introduced me to this app and it works perfectly for what we need. Plan events, create chats and get to know a community in real life. Love it

Love using Dive Chat! It’s super easy to message between groups and plan events. It’ll even auto-generate event suggestions based on messages. Love the real-time react feature as well.

For every event I’m having from here on out I’m using Dive Chat! It’s so easy to send out to everyone and I love seeing all of the interactions. Me and my friends have a group chat on the app now too and it’s so fun and helps us stay organized!
literally SAVED my friend group
I started using dive with one of my friend groups after a few of us were invited to an event hosted on dive and it’s been SO helpful to keeping all of our plans organized. There’s been so many times where I otherwise would’ve forgotten about plans or even never suggested doing something as a group in the first place before we switched over. Overall, really easy to use and a super fun app!!

A step up from other platforms
Dive has so many easy to use and applicable features that make connecting with others so easy. Instead of having one simple chat where you would simply get spammed, dive gives u the option to make different channels where u can talk about different topics. Dive succeeds in the way the app is organized and would recommend it for those who have big groups of people with different interests. Ie.. fraternities, sororities, sports teams.

Super Convenient
It’s a great method of communication and is super easy to use. I personally use it for my sorority and all of the events we have. It’s great to have interactive messages and responses, etc. Definitely recommend!
GAME CHANGER!!
Dive chat makes event planning and group messaging so easy and fun! As someone with a busy social calendar, it’s so nice to be able to create and view events and messages in one place. The app is easy to use and creating events allows you to be creative and unique with your invites and messaging. Plus, there are so many fun features like gifs, multiple reactions, polls, nicknames, etc. This is the perfect app for greek life, work chats, and literally anyone who wants to get people together to make moments happen. I couldn’t recommend this app more!

Social Jackpot
It has been about a year of using Dive with my organization and it has by far the coolest interactions and designs of any mass chat app Ive used. Reactions are the staple of messaging on this app and the slick simplistic feel takes it home. The team is very in touch with their communities as well! Great communication on their end.
