Not working if you use Apple login.
I’m sure this app could be great, however, it requires an oceanic or SSI username and password. Sounds simple, right?
However, if you sign in to your oceanic app using your Apple ID, you’re locked out.
Unfortunately, this distinction is not indicated and you need to pay the app to find out you can’t use it… that’s a bummer.

Thank you for your feedback. This is actually indicated in the app‘s description. In addition, it’s described how to convert your Oceanic+ login from Apple ID login to email/password login. If unsure how to do this, please open a ticket and I’ll step you through the process.

Würde ja gerne eine faire Bewertung abgeben. Allerdings will die Anmeldung nicht funktionieren. Die Anmeldedaten der Oceanic+ App respektive Anmeldung über Apple will nicht funktionieren nicht. Die Supportseite ist leider auch wenig hilfreich.

Great initiative, but...
Really apretiate this app, it's making me access the Oceanic data in easy way and enabling me to process data systematicaly and re-integrate into other tools.
But... the Backup and Restore working only one way (=> Backup). If the Restore will work - i will give 5 starts and advise on other forums for the Dive Converter. Anyway - apretiate your efforts!

Fantastic fantastic
Just started using it today 2023/08/29 used the watch in snorkeling mode in local pool just to test , this app exported every detail down to location with ease, was able to then import it in subsurface on a Mac, this is what makes oceanic+ actually useful, thanks for creating this app!
Terrific app; a must have to use with Oceanic+
I am now using the new beta version because Oceanic changed the API. All of the information that is important to me can be quickly converted directly to MacDive. This includes profile, time and notes. The Oceanic app is still flaky on cylinder pressure and the visibility, surface condition and current sliders don’t seem to convert. However, I have found those sliders to be tricky and the value sometimes changes when I return to a dive in the log. In summary, I love this app and would gladly pay more!

Die App macht genau was sie soll und der Support bei Fragen ist schnell.
Da die Logbuchdaten von Oceanic+ nach einem Jahr ohne Abo gelöscht werden, wird hier eine sehr gute Möglichkeit angeboten, die Tauchdaten zu exportieren und anderweitig zu nutzen.
Das der Login mit Apple nicht geht liegt im Verantwortungsbereich von Apple und auch dafür wird eine Lösung mit ausführlicher Beschreibung mittels Kontomigration angeboten. Da verstehe ich die 1* Bewertung nicht.

Sehr hilfreiches Tool und super Support
Eine Funktion die eigentlich von Oceanic+ angeboten werden sollte…
Aber der Dive Converter hilft und nach einem schnellen und kompetenten Support von Carsten in Deutsch, denn ein paar meiner Dives waren irgendwie „schräg“ gespeichert, konnte ich meine Dives exportieren und in MacDive importieren.
Damit gehen sie nie wieder verloren, denn das würden sie in Oceanic+ wenn wann nicht alle 12 Monate ein neues Abo abschliesst.
Danke bin mit der App und Support mehr als zufrieden (und er hat nicht Mal um eine Rezension gebeten). Aus meiner bisherigen Erfahrung sehr zu empfehlen.

Wonderful Companion to Oceanic+
With this app you can export data from Oceanic+ to a UDDF file that is compatible with many dive logbook applications. This includes all the dive and GPS data collected by Oceanic+ AND the dive notes and other information that you add post-dive. The author has also figured out a work-around for those of us who used "Sign in with Apple" to set up our Oceanic+ account. In my opinion, this was an amazing feat. Well done. If you use Oceanic+ and a logbook application, you need this app.

You are right as it is technically not possible. However, I can help you migrating your dives from a "Sign in with Apple" account to an Oceanic+ account that is based on email/password login.

Anmeldung mit Apple ID nicht möglich, diese nutze ich aber bei oceanic+. Somit ist die App nicht nutztbar. ☹️

Hallo, vielen Dank für den Feedback. In der kommenden Version gibt es die Möglichkeit die Tauchgänge von einem Account mit Apple ID auf einen Account mit Email/Passwort zu migrieren. Bitte öffne ein Ticket und ich helfe Dir gerne bei der Migration.
