Nice and Easy

Not the app you might expect from a “community bank” Modern and easy to use, with all the functionality I would expect in today’s age. Online check deposit saves time, though I still occasionally go in to the bank to deposit just to say hi.

IPad

I have made several requests in person and in writing for the last year and one-half for the tech department to do an upgrade so I can use an iPad with a keyboard. The picture does not turn so the iPad has to be broken down. Very inconvenient. I cannot be the only person challenged with this issue.

Im 15 and this bank works perfectly for me, I can transfer my paychecks every time from my checkings to savings instantly. The security is also very good D.L. Evans makes sure no one can access your account.

New Transitions

I'm really frustrated by the fact that in the DL Evans bill pay there is no way to enter an account number or invoice number to assist the payee with applying the funds on ACH transactions. In April when my rental home insurance was due my insurance company rejected the payment because they couldn’t figure out which account to apply it to and my payment was late as a result. I have the same issue with my lawn care company because I have two homes and need their transactions processed separately since one is a rental property.
This should not be a problem since you have created a field for an account/invoice number when a paper check is sent out. This has resulted in my inability to use bill pay for payees with ACH interfaces I’m hop

UI

I feel like the UI can be improved drastically. The app doesn’t feel finished and is very slow. It feels as if I’m using a browser to navigate from page to page.I would really appreciate a smoother more updated interface

Deposit

When I make check deposit it’s very confusing of check was deposited or not. I wish there was a button that is very visible that tell you to deposit. That button need to be looked at and if you forget to press it your check is not deposited. When I first started to use the app I didnt see that button and I thought my deposit went through but it didn’t . Other banks make it more clear. I wish someone can work on that feature.

Does Enough

Pretty basic app, would like to see some User Interface updates like the Homescreen, Menus, etc. Doe what it needs to do and not much more. Gives off early 2000s vibes.

Easy set up

Depositing a mobile check is a painful experience.

I do not have any other banking app that requires scrolling through numerous pages to accept the mobile deposit option. Why does the endorsement have to include DL Evans bank mobile deposit when the back of the check has a place to check if it’s a mobile and write in the name of the financial institution. The camera software is very difficult to get the exact image. I encourage you to take a look at ICCU’s camera. It places a checkmark when the image meets their specifications.

Awesome Bank

This is an excellent app and an incredible Bank!

An Everything Bagel.

You can do what you need to do.

It’s intuitive.

You can find what you need to find without frustration.

The mobile version doesn’t force you to resort to desktop for additional options or a different visual to find stuff.

So far, I’ve been able to do everything in app instead admitting defeat and having to go into a branch.

Surprising amount of options/functions for any bank app, much less a smaller one.

Great

Functional most the time

80 to 90 percent of the time it works. The last update made some progress, but broke other things. Added Face ID, but it gets disabled a lot and I have to enable it several times. Last issue was the payment screen is not working because it doesn’t fit on the screen. The right side is cut off. I’ve used several other banking apps and they all work better.

Mobile deposits work roughly 50% of the time

New update on app

This new update is terrible! It’s so slow and very confusing to find things. Also I hate how you cannot pay your credit card right away. Not user friendly at all like the old app was! Very poorly thought out!

Not a fan of the recent update

After the last update the app is slow and the took away some functionality (or I can’t find it). I was able to transfer from my line of credit into my checking account before.
