No way to connect to device WiFi
I’ve tried everything I’m using an iPhone 16 and an iPad. No amount of troubleshooting has helped

App is laggy and really of no help. Have tried speaking to the team at dnt about multiple different things with feedback and Suggestions on a few things that would make the scope and app more user friendly. Such as being able to control the scope from the app etc. a white phosphorus setting for nv. And a bunch of other things. Even asked if I could test products for them and make content with reviews and how tos but they didn’t even bother or seem to care. I guess paying 1500$ for a scope they could care less once moneys swapped hands

Pairing issues
The only way pairing works with my phone is to put it in Airplane Mode and then enable WiFi. It will then find the Zulu 520R V2 and pair. It will not pair if cellular service or Bluetooth are enabled. This is pretty primitive functionality in what should be a modern App.

I was an idiot but support helped me connect correctly.
App doesn’t work
I’ve tried repeatedly to get the app to work, but it just keeps wanting me to turn on Bluetooth, which is already on.
Connectivity is horrible.
This update made connecting to the hydra much more stable, yet made the live view 4-5 times as slow. It was worthless for live view before, now it’s worse. And forget about downloading videos. You’re better off hooking to a computer. On a positive note, the ballistic calculator is AWESOME. Super easy data entry, and I LOVE the fact you can select ONLY the data you want to see.

Not connecting on IPad…. Who cares?
I try everything but nothing works with Tablets nor IPad.

This app is very poor !….I have to reinstall the app every time I want to connect my scope as it will only connect the once then will not connect again….the original Arken app wasn’t great but worked far better than this one!!

Connection error in iOS 26
This error occurs when connecting your device with the DNT 5X20 sight. It usually loses the confection through wifi when fixing the reticulum to calibrate at the time of making the groups. An update would be great
Great just to be able to share the experience
Have the DST Zulus V2 and love it so far. All I wanted the app for was to be able to view the sights as my daughter is learning to shoot, and it does this very well. Awesome!

Best digital multi functional scope on the market
I’m about to pay off mine I went with the 325r and it is in my opinion one of the best buying decisions I’ve ever made I have sniped rabbit with my PCP with this thing using the thermal to engage and then switching over to night vision to get a cleaner image and then daytime as a digital daytime scope which is really good it’s got a great range finding module built into a if you’re hesitant about the scope, just buy it it’s great.

Can’t connect to WiFi
I bought the DNT ZHD 5-20 LRF and am having issues connecting to my phone via the WiFi.

Nice simple layout. Functions well and so much better now it’s only for Zulus by getting shot of the reticle info. I’m sure the intention is the right one with the switch over to DNT and look forward to more developments to come.
Small picture in live view
Please enable the live view screen to fill the iPad screen. It’s bigger in portrait mode than landscape. That makes no sense. Neither are large enough.
Can’t add the device.
Can’t add the device. My optic is ZHD520. It keeps sending me to wifi settings of my phone, even though wifi connection between the optic and the phone is already established.
Connectivity prevents this working at all
Bluetooth and wifi only maybe connect if my phone is literally sitting on top of the scope. And then even on wifi the connection is 10-20kbps if you are lucky. The scope is awesome, the app unusable unfortunately.
Backwards app from its predecessor
Under Profile there is mainly some sort of help section ???? - thats not a profile There are hoards of bizzare and obscure pellets under ballistics yet no Sovereign Rangemaster a very popular pellet. The slider switches and text are fiddly and miniscule along with the text. The original app was far better and polished this looks so tacky and cobbled together like a rushed cop out. Just glad I haven’t actually purchased any of their products and definitely won’t be doing now.
