A miserable disappointment if you’re coming from the free version

So I used the free version for a little while, it was as I transferred documents from an legacy app and was able to hunt docs down in FILES app and open them in Documents to see what they were.
So that was tedious with ads every time I came back to free Documents, so I pressed the UPGRADE button.
So I thought I would get an upgrade, I could continue to use the app but with no ads. Wrong.
Instead another app entirely and 5 ways to transfer your files if you have dropbox or a PC.
I have both free and paid Documents on my ipad and it seems there’s no way to transfer the files across. I’ve used wifi as recommended, opened the browser in the new one but there’s no way to copy the files and paste them, just a button that says download and loads pretty much the html file showing what files it could see.
Very disappointing. I had to delete the paid app just to get back my looking at FILES app files to work.
I’ve seen other people complain about the very poor loyalty to people who actually came from the free version.
I’ll try to find something else.
Can I have my money back please ? It does not do what it says on the tin. 0 stars.

Does the job

A simple app for viewing files but it works just fine for me, I’ll purchase to avoid ads.
