Expensive

It was good but you need to pay premium membership to get more than one scan sure it tells you about dog breeds but you can only scan one dog and after that no more scans so would not recommend.

This app was a free app called Dog Cam, no doubt designed to get people using it; now, it's changed to Dog Scanner and want $39 per year...

The free version of the app includes several free sounds, unlimited photo / video capture and limited monthly breed scans. These features have always been and remain to be completely free to use. If you are having trouble accessing these features compared to previous versions then please do get in touch at dogcam@shipyardstudios.io as this is not expected and we want to help fix this.

Great for pets and babies too

I have an over active dog and this helps so much to get his attention. I’ve gotten SO MANY cute pics with this app. Oh and it also works great with my 3 month old as well.

Can’t get to open

When I open this app there is a very large text box wanting permission to access my library. I can’t move the screen to scroll to accept nor change the size of the text. So no idea how this app is as I can’t access it at all!

Hi there, sorry to hear you're having trouble taking photos. To keep your photos secure, DogCam uses your phone's built-in photo library to store any photos and videos taken with the app. In order for this to work, you'll need to allow at least 'Limited' permission for the app to save your photos to your photo library. 'Limited' permission allows you to choose exactly which photos DogCam has access to (you don't have to select any at all), but also allows the app to save photos to your library. You can update your photo library permissions to 'Limited' by going to Settings > DogCam > Photos. If you don't want to allow any access to your photo library, you should still be able to access the app, but the camera screen won't be accessible as it requires the ability to at least save photos to your photo library. If you're still having trouble getting past the permissions setup then please do get in touch at dogcam@shipyardstudios.io as I'd love to help fix this for you. - Mike

Doesn't work

I allowed this app all the permissions and it will not take a photo. I've tried everything and it will not capture a photo when I push the button. There is also no place for options. It won't let me click anything on the screen.

Great photos but where are they?

As others have said - the photos aren’t saved anywhere.

always get a great photo of my lovely little dog-child every time I give this app 10 out of 10 I highly recommend this app it’s excellent

Really good but where the photos go? 🤔

This is really good app especially if you are a groomer as me. But the main question is, where the photo get save???? I was trying this and I was like omg the dogs like this and I took a lot of pic. When I went to see them all, there where no photo.

Don’t upgrade

Having sampled the free sounds I opted to purchase the sound pack. Much to my disappointment this was certainly not worth it, the best sounds are included fee unless you want 20 different poor quality barks with the added bonus of a pig, cow and lion

What a great app. Couldn’t stop laughing with all the sounds and expressions I get with my dogs and clients dogs. Well worth getting.

Brilliant App

At last I can get photos of my two dogs, one of whom is a Black Poodle in perfection by them looking at the camera instead of turning their heads at the vital moment

My JRT Moo hates having her photo taken this app is perfect, I don't write reviews it's not my thing, but for the first time in 9 years, I have a picture of her full face on looking at the camera.
