Really enjoyed the pack walk, golden retriever meet up and Halloween gathering. Also grateful for connecting me to NorCal golden retriever rescue to help rescue a golden retriever at the shelter as soon as her stray wait ended.

Wonderful App!!
I have been a longtime member of the Dogwood community. This is a very resourceful app providing wide array of information for one’s dog. From training tips to meet ups (Halloween is the best one). As a dog owner of a doodle, I had an opportunity recently to attend a meetup especially for doodles. It was awesome. My dog had fun running around with other fellow pups in a safe space. It is easy to sign up and share information and pics of your pup and at the same time be part of the wonderful growing community.

Useless for direct messaging to arrange play dates
You can’t message other users. You can only like and comment on posts and you get a bunch of notifications and ads from businesses
Couldn’t sign up
The app wouldn’t let me past the zip code screen because it insisted I live in New York City and wouldn’t let me change it.
Looking at thedoghood website I’m not sure there anything to sign up for anyway, outside the Bay Area. I’m in the Midwest. And there seems to be a paywall to attend play dates, so this isn’t what I thought it was anyway.

Love the app
Love the DogHood community. Easy to navigate and we get to know what local events are around. Really great to connect dog parents and also I scroll through the main page to look at other cute doggies during my spare time. Parents also get to share tips.

Dog sitting
I just returned from a meet & greet & neighborhood walk with a fellow dog parent and her dog - loved them both. They will come for a play date at my house soon. We are already planning to arrange dog sitting each other’s dogs when we travel. Thanks for making this possible on the DogHood app!

Dog boarding exchange
I posted on DogHood app few days back about boarding exchange my dog and a neighbor reached out to me. Now we will doggies during Christmas break. So happy that I had posted on DogHood. Thank you
Good for owners bad ui experience
The app does its purpose for connecting owners but the overall interface of the app is confusing and overwhelming. I think the app is in need of a face lift to make it feel more unique and not like a pet version of Facebook.

Revised review
I initially had issues signing up (kept getting an error message). But the app developer reached out and reassured me that it was something temporary out of their control. I was able to go back and sign up successfully.
Must have app for all pet owners
This app has saved me so much time. It’s one of THE best resources for almost everything pet related. I have five dogs and am not a breeder.
The app has helped me find the best vet, groomer, pet sitters, breeders and also the best doggy socializing groups. I feel supported and my fur babies have their own little safe place to play. Thank you so much to the creators of this app!! I highly recommend this app.

Please, fix the notification settings. I deleted the app because it kept notifying me every day at least 5 times, it’s really annoying :(.
