Amazing game with easy to understand gimmicks to stand out against all generic merge games. I love the feature where you can pet the dogs in your yard. The only thing setting this back from five stars is that all other content is behind a paywall.
Fun while bored
Despite the saturation in the market for this genre of game, i like this one the best.

スイカゲームの犬版。しかし操作性が悪くフォントも非常に読みにくいので即座にアンインストールしました。

This game is a delight, the devs are very talented. This is literally the only app on the app store I've ever cared to review. Give them some love, they don't take your data, push ads or even push their paid version. Take my money!

I love this. So simple. Classic merge, with dogs. Only they can be good or bad dogs. And you can buy dog tags also. Can be careful and measured, or frantically throw things at the screen.
No ads, no rubbish. Once you got this, you’ll come back to it like 90’s peeps used to play solitaire or minesweeper. This is WAY better. Some (large squishy, stinky) bugs are still getting ironed out apparently.

this game is soo cute but
i love this game and the concept and execution is great seriously but i gotta be honest, full game is a lil pricey and also, having no high score counter makes it sorta hard to have a goal or purpose in this game. but otherwise, its so cute and well done!
Fun but buggy
Great concept, im having a good time. But the feature of unlocking different decks is either buggy, or very confusing. Ill play a few games, unlock a couple decks , then later when i come back they are locked again.

Sans aucun doute le meilleur jeu sorti sur mobile cette année. Il est cependant très très addictif et j’ai hâte de voir de nouveaux niveaux s’ouvrir.
Attention, encore quelques petits bugs par-ci par-là, mais rien qui enlève le plaisir de jouer !

スイカゲームの犬バージョンでローグライク要素も入ってるから打開もできるし戦略も建てられてやり込み要素がある神ゲー。ただし課金しないと最初のデッキしか遊べない。ただし全然遊べる。

I rarely write reviews, but this game is excellent. If you like balatro, you will probably like this. It’s similar (you manipulate your deck directly & also collect dog tags instead of joker cards, which manipulate gameplay) but with a merge game aspect. Very fun to play.
Cute and addicting, but...
Way too easy to get sucked into playing this for hours, even with only the free version. Nothing motivates you to play another game of dog balatro like almost-but-not-quite winning a game of dog balatro. Tactile gameplay, fun art style, and deceptively complex strategy options.
One complaint is that, as another review noted, the "eyeball" button doesn't work, so you can't view your yard while in the shop. Also, the mechanics are 99.9% consistent, but occasionally a power-up will fail to trigger. Some dogtag descriptions could stand to be clarified, like the tennis ball that "rouses the hounds", and nearly half have so little effect as to be virtually useless. I also feel like endless mode ramps up the difficulty much too fast; the curve should be a bit more gradual.
Finally, the game does seem to drain your battery pretty fast for what it is, so optimizations in that area would be nice.

スイカゲームみたいな落下と進化するパズルに、Balatroみたいなランダムな、ゲームを簡単にしたり難しくしたりする要素が混ざったゲームです。
無料版は一番下の難易度だけですが、最後まで遊べます。
大体は、スライドして犬を庭に放つ。同じ犬同士を合成すると、骨やお金がもらえます。
骨がある程度貯まると、ドッグスパのお店に行きます。
ランダムな犬3匹に同時にいい効果を付けたり、変な効果のついた邪魔な子を削除したりできます。
ショップカードを庭に出すとお金で買い物ができます。
お店にはBalatroでいうジョーカー的な効果を選んで購入できます。
これがこのゲームをより面白くする、未知のシナジーを探れる部分です！
3匹の犬も販売されます。

Progress keeps resetting
I was ecstatic when the game finally released on iOS and bought it immediately.
Unfortunately there’s a game breaking bug where the progress keeps resetting after you finish the “classic” mode and the next mode becomes locked again after the app is closed

A perfect mobile game
I recommend this game to anyone. Very easy to pick up and super fun.
Love the game, needs fixing
Absolutely amazing spin on the merge stacking game but its got a bug that keeps deleting my progress any time I close the app. Timid dogs also create a lot of bug reports for some reason while interacting with other traits or the spinning dogs. I wish the best and will update when this is addressed
Good with a note to the dev
The game is absolutely amazing but for some reason the 10 dog isn’t revealed in the collection even when J Q or K is revealed. Great game, easy add to the library :)
New favorite nap game
No ads, great art and sound design, simple but addictive gameplay. There’s tons of replayability in the free version alone. Don’t get turned off by it being called a merge game, it’s nothing like those other ones.
If you like Gubbins, also by Studio Folly, this is a no-brainer. It has the same hand-drawn feel but crashes less and runs better.
If you like Balatro, Dogpile seems to have begun in a Balatro-style game jam, so there are some dynamics that will feel familiar. Instead of buying jokers from the shop at the end of a round, you’ll get dog tags.
It’s fun, play it. :)
