Not enough content

The works great, subtitles are great, but not enough content in the app. Most of the horror is just low budget shlock and the shows are mostly romance. I’d like to see this app have more movies/shows in the future. Not enough for me to keep paying

Favorite show removed

Long time Doki subscriber. It seems my favorite show has been removed from their library. Probably due to licensing issues. If it comes back, I’ll resubscribe.

Looks great!

App seems to work pretty well easy to find what it is that I want to watch. The only suggestion of a feature I would like to Add is a way of subscribing to a particular show or playlist that would come up in notifications. 🤣 just want to know when the next Giants game is available 😜

I love Doki tv! Before I was sad because it was really hard to find Japanese tv shows in the US and Doki tv has a great selection with lots of options:) as long as they add new shows and episodes regularly, then I think I will continue to love it.

Allow me to toggle subtitles. Please.

App is actually quite nice. However because I can not turn off subtitles I will be looking elsewhere.

I hope to return when I can toggle subtitles.

Subtitles

I love Doki. I’m happy to watch this many Japanese shows outside of Japan. My only issue is the subtitles on the screen. I would like to turn them off, but I don’t see a way. Maybe it’s already possible and I’m missing it. Or perhaps the subtitle options are show specific?
I am already able to understand Japanese when I hear it. The English subs at the bottom are quite distracting! If I’m missing a toggle, please enlighten me. If not, please consider adding this option in the future.

Turn Off Subtitles Option

Can we please have the ability to turn off subtitles? This app would be great if you could toggle them off. English subtitles are very distracting.

The subtitles are sometimes off, or entirely missing, but it’s great to have a selection of Japanese TV! Please add more shows and Movies! I would love to watch a historical love drama 😍

Hi Rebeccaレベッカ, thanks for watching Doki and posting your review. We appreciated it. We've done a review of some of our earlier shows and agree that the subtitles could be better. As such we have begun to update all of the subtitles to fix the mistakes. The process is not perfect but we'll keep trying to make it easier for our viewers to enjoy the shows.
