The app is a pain
This app has logged me out quite a few times over the years. I have to reset passwords that it says is wrong and when I create a new one with the password that it doesn’t recognize, then it tells me that I cannot use previous passwords. When the app works it’s a big help but I’m tired of losing out on deals because the app logs me out or crashes on the Saturday with the biggest discounts. I’ve gone shopping elsewhere because this is frustrating.

Worst Shopping experience
The amount of double triple checking and security for an app to clip a few coupons is absolutely insane. They make the user experience impossible. Their technology and marketing departments should be fired if I could give a -5 I would.
1 tap for all Coupons
I wish I could just tap 1 one place and clip all of the coupons.
Bait and Switch
I constantly have prices higher in store, coupons that are clipped and shown on my list do not appear at registers. Employees say this happens frequently with everyone and they have no ability to “adjust” prices to match the sales promotions… I have been told this is your bait and switch tactic because you are aware of the issue but it’s a solid income revenue for YOU.

Sludge
Closing the app is the only way to work around the multiple user interface issues on this app. Keyboard will remain on screen once prompted, back button crashes the app, changing location, pickup or delivery, signing in.. everything crashes the app.

First time shopping was awesome!!
I thought dollar general and dollar store were the same thing. I shopped with DG for my first time after shopping at the dollar store for years and years. Dollar General has better deals and the store is much cleaner with more options in a smaller store. I don’t blame Dollar Store employees they are so understaffed and for some reason not allowed to or don’t have the security to keep groups from stealing from and trashing the store. DG seems to have that figured out either from staffing appropriately or being in a location that keeps groups of thieves away.

How does a million dollar corporation manage to build an app that can’t even send you the verification codes via text message 😐😐

I can’t never order online. It kicks me out of the app. I’m ready to see an update for this app. It’s so useful if I could make purchases without it signing me out.
Disappointed
Verified email, but refused to work, open, or remember signin information without verifying phone number. Then wouldn’t send text to verify- caught in a dead loop.
Big bugs
This review is really to just make you aware that the app isn’t even working right now. It crashes every time I try to open it and it keeps logging me out. When I finally get in and try to select in store and my store it will never even show a store in my town. Closest it will show is one 30 minutes away and my town has at least 7. I have deleted and redownloaded and same thing happens. Why is it just not working all of a sudden? It’s very annoying and inconvenient. Can’t even use the app.
