Watch your renewals
Be very careful when subscribing and cancelling. If you email asking for cancellation they will not cancel your subscription but continue charging you, it happened to me for 2 years. They took out $584 last month. I could not believe it! Domestika refused a refund even though I asked my subscription to be cancelled 2 years ago.
I ended up putting a claim through PayPal and am very grateful to them for giving me the refund.

Do not subscribe for Domestika
I highly doubt not recommend Domestika. They tricked me to sign up for a course of 1€ and then they deducted a full subscription from my account without any notice. I tried all the ways to return back then money. I even sent them emails but no reply. And they back this up with their policies. On top of all that the content of the courses is very surface level and weak. You can not depend on that only to truly lean new skill

Theo make you buy something cheap and without your consent subscribe you to expensive plans. Had to cancel my credit card, they secretly billed me over $200.

Terrible customer service —all AI
I got the year subscription and I was supposed to get 12 credits. I only got 10. I’ve tried to communicate with a company over and over However I only get a standard AI response and the issue has never been resolved. I feel like I got ripped off and I don’t have any recourse.

I subscribed to a monthly plan. I cancelled my subscription within a few weeks because I didn’t want to continue cause the platform it’s not good enough for learning the videos don’t even work properly
After I had already cancelled, Domestika charged me €317.78 for an annual subscription.
I never used Domestika Plus. I never watched a course. I never downloaded anything. My refund was refused, so I have had to open a chargeback with my bank to try to recover my money.
There are much better learning platforms with clearer subscription terms and far better customer service. Don’t download this app you will waste your time and money

It has really help me grow and to see the my art in different ways if I can achieve you guys can achieve too
Exceptional Quality
I have loved many Domestika courses. I find the structure of the courses easy and helpful. Some are much more thorough and offer a lot more in the way of extras than others, which can be a little frustrating. My favourite course was Julia Tricky’s Botanical Watercolour.

J’ai vraiment beaucoup de cours que j’apprécie beaucoup. Petite chose à améliorer: la possibilité de classer nos cours comme on veut (déjà suivi, en cours, ceux qu’on est en train de suivre etc). Autre petite chose: parfois, les traductions en français laissent à désirer… Mais merci pour tout.
Pure scam
Don’t fall for the free trial”. Not free AT ALL! They will charge you and renew a whole year subscription that you didn’t even pay for to start with. And then, they won’t give your money back because of their “policies”. It is just a well framed scam.
A very frustrating experience
I paid for a course twice as the page after page after the payment was done was still stuck for more than 30min. I raised a complaint with pictures of the payment being processed. I still have not received any reply to my emails. This has been a very frustrating experience. I even sent another email asking for an update and nothing came out of it.

They steal my $345 money
I never mean to buy any plus subscription from them but I saw $345 bill from my bank account. Why I buy this. I entered my account from an advertisement and searched for a class and it was very cheap I bought it. Then weeks after I saw the bill! They did not help I wrote many times
Good content - horrible support
Most of the comment is really good. The stuff with the English overdubs is not as enjoyable but is what it is. But, good lord, god forbid you reach out to support on something - you will not hear back.

Ich schaue hier immer nach kreativen Kursen und habe schon einige gemacht, weil sie immer super sind und ich zu jedem Thema etwas finde. Wenn die Kurse noch etwas häufiger auf deutsch wären, wäre es noch cooler, aber jeder Kurs ist auch auf Englisch, was es trotzdem machbar macht. Ich liebs!

It is always a pleasure to watch the courses and learn from them. I love how there is no pressure and you can go at your own pace. It beats scrolling through mind numbing social media and rubbish on TV. Even if I don’t make anything at the time, it gives me lots of ideas of what I can make when I have more time on my hands.
