About

One campaign. Twenty-four weeks. Which district do you visit first, which policy do you back, and where does the money go? Dong-Suan! (Taiwanese for "get elected!") is a single-player strategy game set in Taiwan's local elections. Pick a city or county and a candidate, then campaign from June to the November vote against a rival who reacts to the polls. [22 cities & counties, 368 districts] Every district has its own age mix and local issues. The map color is your street survey: deep color = solid lead, light = narrow lead, yellow = toss-up. [Six actions, each with its own little scene] Ads, Policy, Fundraise, Canvass, Attack and Team — street walks, temples, markets, rallies, TV, online ads, billboards and giveaways. [Read the crowd before you take a stand] Every issue has supporters and critics. Watch the crowd's reaction to find the right stance; over-promise and you'll be asked where the money comes from. [Plant your flag on the map] Build campaign offices, put up billboards and hand out giveaways — and see your rival's too. [No secret vote counts — just like a real campaign] You only see how people react; only polls show numbers, and polls have errors. The national mood, rival gaffes and election-day turnout can all flip the race. [Talk show, debate, election-eve rally and vote count] Match issue cards on the "Politics Tonight" talk show, battle with cards in the TV debate, lead a rhythm rally on election eve, and watch the map turn district by district on count night. Lose, and you'll see why. [Expansions (one-time purchase, includes Remove Ads)] 2028 Road to the Presidency: party primary, running mate, a nationwide race across 22 cities and counties, presidential debate and a final rally. The first primary week is free to try. Also: In Office, Road to Borough Chief, Road to the Council, 2028 Legislative Race, Challenge Pack and Create a Candidate. See the in-game store for what's available and prices. Local campaigns are free with ads; watching videos for rewards is always your choice. Don't want ads? Buy Remove Ads or an expansion that includes it. There are no difficulty settings: your rival reacts to public opinion and the state of the race. Characters are fictional with pun names; parties, events, polls and results are simulated and do not represent real public opinion or election forecasts.
