No more updates so ad free doesn't work

I paid almost $4 for ad free today. My payment went through but I still get ads between EVERY game. I wonder if Apple is pocketing the $$$ since the developer hasn't updated in over 5 years. My bad for not checking recent updates. Seems a bit unfair.

I absolutely love this game. I love it so much that I paid to make it ad free, however, THE ADS KEEP SHOWING UP!?!?!?!?!? Don’t pay for the upgrade… I would like my money back 🤯

I am someone who hates interruptions and purchased the Remove Ads. However, that did nothing. Every time I refreshed the game, the ads still popped up.
