Keep the records from running your rental. doorledge is an iPhone record keeper for short-term rental hosts, including ADUs, guesthouses and shared properties. Keep receipts, income, expenses, mileage, property hours and notes together. Review your records, then share them however you file. SAVE THE ORIGINAL Scan a receipt, import a photo or PDF, or send an invoice attachment from another app using Share. Drop an image or PDF into doorledge where your device supports drag and drop. Your iPhone reads the text on-device and suggests details for you to check before saving. Find a saved invoice by vendor, note or text inside the receipt. For returning vendors, doorledge can suggest a category and rental share from your records for that property. You can change every suggestion. It does not search your email inbox or connect to booking-platform accounts. SPLIT SHARED EXPENSES Keep the full bill and record only the rental portion. Choose a percentage, split receipt items, or apply saved building or land measurements. Each expense keeps the allocation you selected. doorledge does not decide which costs belong to your rental. COLLECT YOUR HELPER'S WORK Sign in with Apple inside doorledge and send a private property link to a cleaner, handyman or other helper. They submit the work date and time spent, with an optional note and photo. They need no app or account, and cannot see your ledger. Reuse the link for later visits or close it when needed. Open doorledge online to receive submissions in Needs review. Check each one before it enters confirmed totals. Helper submissions keep the helper's name and remain distinguishable from time entered in the app. Helper photos are stored privately for 30 days; receive them within that time to keep a copy on your iPhone. RECORD WHO DID THE WORK Start a timer while you work, or add time later with a date, duration, property and person's name. Log mileage and notes. Optional booking calendar links and visit reminders help with day-to-day record keeping. Income entries reflect the amounts you supply; keep platform statements for fees and payouts. HAND OFF YOUR RECORDS From Records, tap Export. Choose a year and property, then share a spreadsheet or a package with summaries and original receipts. Totals use confirmed records. Or choose Share with accountant. Preview the selected records and optional originals, then publish a private link. Your accountant can read and download it without an account. Anyone holding the link can access it, so share it carefully. Links expire after 90 days and can be closed sooner. Later edits stay on your iPhone until you publish a new copy. This is not a live ledger or a direct tax-software connection. KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR DATA Local capture and saved records work offline without a doorledge account. Your ledger and originals stay on your iPhone unless you export them or explicitly publish a snapshot. Team and accountant sharing require an optional account, internet access and a verified Apple purchase or eligible trial. The privacy policy explains the data used by these services. Save a separate complete backup in Settings to recover your records and originals on a new or reinstalled iPhone. Restore requires an empty ledger. Shared links are not a complete app backup.
