Fixes found by running Doris on a real iPhone and reading the server's own logs. • Your photos stop re-queuing themselves for rewriting. A day now counts as "you tagged someone" only when you actually did — the automatic photo pass was being mistaken for your edit, so ordinary days kept asking to be rewritten. That is what made the app feel busy and slow. • Your written chapters are no longer replaced by the plain factual version. When a photo imported after a chapter was written, Doris treated the chapter as untrue and overwrote your prose with the mechanical fallback. Missing a late detail is out-of-date, not untrue — the chapter is refreshed instead of replaced. • Photo restore keeps working after a failed backup. Restoring is how images come back after a reinstall, and a backup problem was blocking it exactly when it was needed. • Signing in no longer hammers the subscription check. • Doris recovers on its own if its AI allowance frees up early, instead of staying quiet. • Moving around the app is quicker.
