今まで試してきたピクセルアート用アプリの中で一番使いやすいです。色選択も塗りつぶしも移動も出来てレイヤー機能まであるのでかなり快適にかつ自由に創作できます。
One of the best drawing apps
Awesome and simple interface, one of the best drawing apps on Apple. Easy to use and fun when you figure out how to pixel art. My one problem with the app is the functionality of the undo button, it doesn’t work all of the time. Other wise it is a great app and fun to use. It also is getting somewhat dated and can sometimes have bugs but is still an all time favourite app

WORST UNDO FEATURE EVER
I make a mistake or my finger slips and I go to undo so I hit undo, the mistake doesn’t disappear so I hit it again... and again... what’s going on?? Oh the app decided to skip around in history and is undoing important work you did before the mistake. And that mistake is permanent now!

Pretty good
It's a decently good app for pixel art but there can still be a few improvements,
1.) an eye dropper tool to make it easier to select colors.
2.) a copy and paste thing for layers
Otherwise, the app is fine.

I use this every day, my favourite things to draw are snapshots from Gravity Falls
Miss this Option
I used to be around when you set an image guide, you can select the colors from the image.
I would very much like that back.
It's really hard to get the exact shade you want-

Could be great for cross stitch...
Got the app in an attempt to find one that'll work well for super simple cross stitch. It could be perfect if you could have larger a canvas and export a file that shows the grid. One day...

I like the sophisticated interface, it feels intuitive and looks great! I'll be using this for future projects. I don't care for the limited export options or colour management system, its cumbersome. (And a bit glitchy at times) But it's still the best app for pixel art on the iPad, especially with a stylus.

It was Amazing till the update
Why did yall change it i loved it and than yall made a update to where i make a pixel art and send it to my phone to make it look better but i have to guess the color please change it back to were u can

Pixel perfect
Take a little time to read the directions, once you memorize the functions it's very intuitive!
I've used Dots to create over 40 16-bit carictures of my friends; it has become an indispensible creative tool.
I only wish there were a few other tools: a selection tool to allow the moving of only a partial section of an image, and a shape tool to help you draw the outlines of rectangles and ellipses. If you could increase the canvas size after starting a project, that would be immensely useful too! When trying to combine multiple sprites into a scene, its unfortunate that it resizes the artwork instead of importing it at the pixel perfect size. Maybe that should be an option?

Great app. Wish it had a color picker!
This app is awesome. But I wish it had a color picker.
Why did you change it??
I don't like the new pixelated pictures when I import them, the actual picture in the background was way better and also it used to show me what colors were in the picture and now I'm stuck having to guess.
It's Great
Its a full app functioning app, and it works amazingly, but manu things can and should be added from things like a 256x256 size option when creating a new portrait to layer opacity for greater ease when creating gifs.
MUST GET!
Amazing APP! Must get if your thinking about creating 8-bit games and such. You can email your pixel art to yourself as well which is great! I recommend.
Production-Ready Art
DOTS is the just-about-perfect app for creating pixel art on your iDevice. I'm currently using it to produce art for use in creating a game app, and the files from DOTS import perfectly into Unity3D.
Use this every day.
It's one of the best apps on the appstore. I've helped develop games by making graphics for them and since I do this I have two requests.
One: Animations. Pixel animations. When creating an image, under where it shows the size you want, it should say like "Static" and "Animation" between which you can choose from.
Two: Custom image sizes. At the end of the different sizes you can choose, there should be a button you can click to set your own dimensions.
