Not for Double OS1
This does not work for the Double OS1 product. There is no app for this available so you’ll wish you never bought it. Complete waste of money
X2 Double Go Prp Pickup
The wireless won’t pair the pickup to the receiver. I’ve downloaded the app and all the effects and it works nicely as long as you don’t connect to an amp (or PA)… they don’t go out to the amp. I clicked on the QR code to download the instruction manual. When I scanned it, I a message that I need to put in a credit card but I won’t be charged. So I put in a credit card and got a message that the card wasn’t accepted and to try another card. Like an idiot I tried a second card and got the same message. I didn’t try that again and shortly after I got messages from both card companies asking if I’d made two charges of around $40 each. The QR code is a scam. I had to close both cards for fraudulent transactions. So I still can’t get a manual and there’s absolutely no way to get customer support. The pickup sounds great plugged in wirelessly but I wish the effects would go to my amp. I have two of the other Double pickups without the effects. I love those but really thought the Go Pro would be much better but it wasn’t worth the extra cost.

Tuner doesn’t work. Effects only work in the app and not just from the pickup. Customer support is non-existent.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE
The X2 Double GO Pro Preamp is AMAZING. And so is the app. I bought it on Amaz0n and it’s sold under different names but it’s the X2 Double and it’s from Double Acoustics. I don’t even use this with any external amp, haven’t even tried the wireless. I just stuck the little transmission inside the guitar (moves and creates vibrations,) plugged it into the soundhole preamp unit, got the app and that’s it. I can play my acoustic guitar with reverb, chorus, compressor and/ or delay. And it sounds great. This is not some cheesy device, it’s a very high quality unit. The app has virtual pedals that are fully adjustable. Just a note: the old version of the unit is still available so be sure to get the X2 Double if you plan to check it out. My acoustic guitar has never been more fun. And no you don’t need an acoustic/ electric to use this.
