Looking forward with this app
I don’t have that much experience with this mobile app for Downey Federal credit union because I’m new to Downey Federal credit Union hopefully what the negative reviews are not true when I start using this app and if it is hopefully Downey Federal credit union can fix it
This new version is a DOWNGRADE!
I absolutely HATE this newer version of the app! It does not reflect the correct balance. You have to refresh the app like 15 times before you get the correct balance and even that leaves you wondering if it’s accurate…. In all, Downey FCU has been just one problem after another. You can clearly tell that they consistently look for the cheapest of the cheapest when it comes to technology. Downey FCU, as usual you definitely got what you paid for. A bunch of secondhand outdated junk! How in your mind does this app make life easier for your customers? Now you’re going to have to spend even more money to fix this major problem and in the long run it will cost US more money to get the app working right than what it would have cost if you had just been a bit more RESPONSIBLE WITH OUR MONEY and had it done right to begin with. Whoever is in charge of your financial decisions clearly has no business working within the banking industry. CHEAPEST ISN’T ALWAYS THE BEST WAY TO GO as evidenced by this app! Someone seriously needs to be fired! Time to switch banks!

New App Update/Layout
This new update of the application is really bad. The numbers are inaccurate, even when you refresh the screen, still inaccurate. Like one previous reviewer said, the last app wasn’t great, but at least it was accurate. I emailed DFCU and never heard back. Hopefully they step their game up, I love banking with them, they just can’t seem to figure out the mobile application game. We need Apple Pay too please.

Helpful Tip
After the latest update to the application earlier this month, I was experiencing some difficulties logging into my account. I checked my I Phone X to make sure I had the latest system update; nevertheless, I wasn’t up to date, so I immediately updated my phone. Once the update was completed; I uninstalled and reinstalled the Downey Federal Credit Union application. Once it was reinstalled on my phone, I proceeded to open the application and input my credentials as normal; then I was prompted to create a new password. After I created my password, I was able to access my account. I hope this helps someone.

New layout
The app is horrible, never reflects information accurately since the new update that changed the layout. One minute it shows the correct balances the next second if shows an old balance, you can’t do transfers. The old layout was horrible as well but atleast it had accurate balances.

Can’t transfer member to member anymore. Can’t transfer money within my own account either. Do we have to show up to the physical bank with your horrible hours? Fix it!

Your font colors of blue in grey are nearly impossible to read. I can only transfer because the account balances are in white. Please adjust!
This app will make you want to switch banks
This app Always laggy, it’s a 50/50 chance that I’ll be able to use online banking with this thing. Half the time I log in, it says incorrect username, even my username is saved on the app. Step it up please.
Credit transactions don’t show...
Decent banking app, The issues they won’t fix tie into your credit transactions, have to sign into a pop up or other browser..
Mobile Deposit Camera Problem
With my iPhone 120 Pro Max, I cannot use the mobile deposit function with this app. Error message from the app states I’m exceeding the image size limit for both check images.
Why fix what’s not broken
This app worked just fine prior to their updates. Why the updates don’t know? However what I do know is if you have more than one account it blocks you every time you go back and forth. The system will be “Down” and you have no access to your money. This is ridiculous... I’ve needed to transfer money twice and it was when I most needed it and could not access it. And Bank was closed. You can tell by how the app works the web designers aren’t the best at what they do. I’ve been banking here for over 20 yrs and just because of this I’ve come really close to going to another bank. Why FIX what’s not broken?????

Worst bank app ever
So many glitches and it’s constantly crashing or they shut it down for “maintenance”. I have never had a bank app with so many problems. Problems making transfers. Problems depositing checks through app. Won’t open often. Have had to call the bank numerous times to complain and make transactions because the app failed. The login is a nightmare and can’t use iPhone one touch to open. My other credit unions app is nearly flawless. Easy to use and loads fast.

New update is bad
I hope you guys fix all the bugs on this update. I can’t view my balances because the the numbers and fonts are overlapping and the navigation isn’t as easy as it was before. Simple and straight forward always works .
