Great Scanner
Doxie is portable and memory expandable, loved that I can staple docs and scan pictures. Reducing the paper clutter and having my information small and portable.

Still a lot of trouble
For whatever reason, I still have the problem I do years ago I decided to pull it out of the closet, hoping it would serve me a miracle unfortunately, it did not
Expensive paper weight
Doxie go se, will not connect to local Wi-Fi. Cannot export multiple files at the same time which is a deal breaker. No options to name scanned files. Web interface is mediocre at best App looks like it was developed by kids. Taking pictures instead of scanning is just more convenient vs scanning.

Great scans. Miserable interface.
Seriously complicated to connect and see scans, no Doxie app on chrome, hit or miss whether Doxie app finds scanner. I’ve had this thing for years, I want it to be the great answer it’s purported to be, every time I sit down to scan, review and make it all work, I end up frustrated.

Useless, doesn’t work ➡️highway roberry
Lack Feature Updates
Consumer level home and mobile scanning which used to be well-above the competition but seems like it might be abandon ware at this point. No new feature updates, UI improvements or new integrations
App Crashes
Love my DOXIE and the app has lots of potential. I would love the app if it didn’t hang after uploading the receipt to the application I use to track my receipts
Overpromised and under delivered
Using this with Doxie Go SE WiFi. The connection is unreliable and the overall product is poorly designed.
Unable to export in bulk
I scanned hundreds of photos and uploaded them to the iPhone app, only do discover that I have to save them 1 by 1, I cannot select multiple or bulk upload in any way. Pretty sad lack of basic functionality! Wish I had used the desktop app instead the phone app.
Terrible
Wouldn’t ever connect. Horrible. Returning right now.
Good, but lacking and has bugs
Have been using this for a few weeks now, used it for quick document scanning for which it is excellent.
It falls short when you want to scan and import bulk images/documents. The app only allows you to export single images and documents need to be “stapled” to be exported in bulk.
There is also a weird timestamp bug where some images I exported had their metadata date set to the year 2013.
Some people use the iPad as a main personal computer, I wish the iPad/iOS app can be up to par to the far superior desktop apps.

This app is a toy, albeit a good one
I process a lot of files, and ive been using Doxie scanners for a decade; not the company and the hardware have served me very well. I just upgraded to the wireless, model, and gave this app a trial to see how it stacks up against the Mac app.
I wasnt very happy with it; what it does, it does well- the setup was easy, the operation straightforward, and… yeah. What it does, it does well.
It doesn’t do OCR natively- this is an odd miss, but i can do this elsewhere on the iPad. It doesn’t do batch export: for downloading, prepping and sending out individual files it’s boss, but its no good for doing large file batches. Imported files are not accessible in Files, which would be a simple and useful trick- but Doxie has their own cloud service.
Its good for what it does, and i cant ding them for aspirations. I was hoping for better though.

Oh boy not user friendly
I really thought this would be a great product to use when I could not get to my laptop and printer. I have to print a PDF file that was sent via email. I have been trying now for two days and still can not get the PDF file to convert to JPG file. I am at my wits end. Not at all what I thought this would be. I just can not get the hang of this thing.

Doesn’t Discover Scanner
CON: This AP is so stripped down, there isn’t any ability to manually connect to my Doxie scanner. I have my Doxie joined to my home network but the only way the app works is if it uses the built-in Doxie WiFi SSID. So, every device can access my scans EXCEPT my mobile device.
RECOMMENDATION:
Give users the ability to manually assign IP address in the app. Also, give access to a log so users can read why it can’t discover properly. Otherwise, in my opinion, since it won’t discover correctly, and have no idea why, or any way to troubleshoot, this app is worthless.

The only way to go!
What an easy device to use! I've used quite a few scanners and this is tops! The Only Device to use. 👍‼️
It’s so reliable, easy to use and reach a Doxie tech.

Doesn’t support older Doxies
I have a Doxie Go and I wish I could plug in an SD card or the scanner directly to my iPad.
Very disappointing
The user interface needs a lot of work not very user-friendly. The Wi-Fi connectivity is very spotty even when you’re in front of the device and you have everything else connected to your network it is very difficult for it to pair up to your device. Documentations are very difficult to manage.
