Tolle App

Ist zwar auf englisch, aber es sind sehr gute Eselsbrücken darin um sich die Hiragana Zeichen zu merken. Genau das was ich gesucht habe. Außerdem gibt es gute Möglichkeiten zu üben. Ist sein Geld definitiv wert.

okay App

This app use to be really good but it’s just not the same. It doesn’t move through auto - play & there are too many different versions of this app. That’s it’s confusing please do better.

Waste of 5$

You can really get these info on free pdfs online… nothing special about the app. Some of the mnemonics are also weird. I wish you could get a refund but you know… Apple

Works great!

Everyone is different and learns in their own way. For me, I have found this app works well to study and remember all of the characters.

Auto play doesn't work in this or the Katakana app

Some update must've screw things up. It used to be you would put it on autoplay and it would go through all the Hiragana automatically. I tried to re-download it, but it doesn't anymore. So annoying.

Piss take

I feel like the pictorial examples used to remember hiragana characters are far off what most people would find easy to remember. For example, instead of having the character of Su being drawn as a sumo with the fat tummy, it’s some how drawn into some flying dude which, I cannot see how I can remember that in my own.

The hiragana app is not working

The hiragana part of the app is not working I cannot open it

I memorized all 46 hiragana in one night!

I have a very visual-based memory, and this style of learning just clicked. I’ve tried using other language learning apps and sites in the past but always had problems memorizing the characters. I’ll continue to take the quizzes until I don’t have to think when I see the characters. Thank you for such a simple yet effective tool.

Sympa

Bonjour bien fait, j’ai quelques caractères bien gravés grâce aux carte. Par contre l’autoplay ne fonctionne pas.

Just not as good as anything else out there.

The app is functional but doesn’t have the finesse to make itself worthwhile. Why pay when there are free charts and apps that are almost identical or better. The descriptions also use words that don’t match either the letters or the sounds and can be pretty confusing. For る, Russian and rubies are words used to describe but it only sounds like rubies, so why confuse the learner. This happens throughout.
And then the UI is pretty hard to flick between different parts, and only self checking for errors makes this app pretty weak compared to its competitors. Definitely overpriced.

Awesome! But I think there’s a bug w the full version

So helpful!! Makes it easy to get the hang of it, but the reading phrase practice quiz I think is buggy, every time I try to select a phrase the app crashes, would be complete five stars if this was fixed and didn’t have to restart everytime a learning session is selection, would be cool to have a “shuffle” option for everything!!

Good

At the beginning it wasn’t working but then the next day the apps started to work. And it’s very helpful so far it’s good

This is a big help for beginners

I just started learning Japanese and the association make learning letters SOOOO much easier. Excited to continue learning!

I payed for it and I couldn’t do anything

I payed for this app excited that I could start learning Japanese better. I was wrong. I opened the app and it said, download the app please, so basically, I payed for it, opened it, and cant do anything. So i wasted my time trying to learn Japanese by spending my money to be told "download the app please". Such a waste of my money. Don't buy unless you want to be disappointed that you cant do anything. This is such cap. 👎🏽

Good but…

When you’re listening to music and try to do quizzes it stops your music even if you mute sounds in the app. The features to practice writing could be better. Some of the flash cards don’t have the full strokes of the characters so it makes it a little hard to use that for writing practice.

Great app.

What a great learning system. I learned Hiragana in 15 hours. I ended up downloading a free quiz app and bounced back and forth between the two apps.

Some glitches on quizzes

This app has pronunciation glitches. When doing quizzes, the pronunciations sometimes are totally off and don’t match the words. Other than that, I like the visual memorizations.

DOWNLOAD THIS

I’m in a fast pass Japanese class and had to learn everything in 2 weeks. Sounds insane because it is. This app is amazing with helping ways to remember it. I’m not sure why this isn’t more known for Japanese students. Worth every penny.

Learned all the Hiragana in one morning

I’ve been learning languages with Duolingo during the pandemic. The hiragana were tricky to learn so I looked for a good app. The mnemonics were simple, funny, and I just got a perfect score on the quiz with all 46 characters - all within 2 hours of downloading the app.

There are some simple fixes I’d love to see, such as when you see how to write the character you can’t continue scrolling after you get back.

The app is perfect for its purpose. No subscription either which I love. Very happy I downloaded it!

Very good and fun way to learn the basics through games and pictures!

I totally recommend getting the bundle!

It has surely helped me with my Japanese reading skills!
