Good idea

And it’s a great idea and literally almost what I’ve been searching for… but the money grab is rough, they want you to pay to play almost. And even worse is the glitchiness. I may need to move this down to 1 start as the game crashes every single time I try to play now. And it’s frustrating because the notifications and updates say they’re patching the dropped matchmaking issue but it’s only gotten worse day by day.

Was Great… then just stopped working

I played daily and then one day it just stopped finding matches. It’s a shame, game was a lot of fun.

Was great

Game was great. Newest update has ruined it. Matchmaking drops. Post match results freeze. Constantly have to close app and re open

Horrible Game

To think they could have made an AMAZING Game based around drafting.. instead they made a stupid game simple for profit. Horrible game play, look.. design and on top of that the players are garbage. No matter what era you are in.. it’s just awful for what it could be. I’m shocked how bad it is. If I could give zero stars I would.

Response from developer

Thank you for the candid feedback. We agree that the early version of DraftBattle didn’t fully deliver on the potential of the concept. Since version 1.0.6, we’ve made significant improvements to gameplay, visual design, roster and position accuracy, era-based player eligibility, scoring, and overall reliability. We’ve also continued expanding the game with new modes and challenges. Please try the latest version. If you still notice incorrect players, positions, or era eligibility, contact us directly at support@draftbattle.app with a specific example. We review every report and correct verified roster issues. We appreciate the criticism—it has helped us build a much better game.

Fun game with glitches

Amazingly fun game but the energy doesn’t refill like it’s supposed to. So you get to play once - and they hold you hostage to make you pay-to-play. 👎🏼

Response from developer

Thank you for reporting this. You were right—the energy refill system wasn’t working correctly for some players, which could make it feel like paying was the only way to continue. This issue has now been fixed. Energy timers continue correctly when the app is closed, and players below their energy cap receive a full refill when the scheduled timer finishes. Please update DraftBattle to the latest version. If your energy still doesn’t refill correctly, contact us directly at support@draftbattle.app so we can investigate your account. We appreciate you helping us identify the problem.

Payment didn’t register in Game

I like the concept of the game and I played it long enough to want to buy the lifetime energy for the game. Took my money but didn’t give me the lifetime energy.. after playing 2 or 3 more matches, the same promotion to buy unlimited energy popped up. I guess that’s a bug in the game or something I don’t know but definitely done playing after that.

Response from developer

We’re sorry you experienced this. We identified and fixed an issue that could cause a completed Lifetime Unlimited purchase not to register correctly—or allow the Unlimited promotion to appear again afterward. Please update DraftBattle to the latest version and reopen the app. If Lifetime Unlimited is still not active, contact us directly at support@draftbattle.app with your in-game nickname or sign-in email. We’ll locate your account and make sure your purchase is restored. Thank you for reporting this and giving us the opportunity to fix it.

Good but…

You can’t even see all the players to choose from each round so it makes it difficult to choose the. Est available

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. You’re right—the earlier draft layout didn’t make it clear that you could swipe through all the available player cards before making your selection. We’ve since improved the layout and navigation to make the full player pool easier to browse. Please update DraftBattle to the latest version and try another draft. If any players are still inaccessible on your device, contact us at support@draftbattle.app so we can investigate the specific screen-size or display issue.

Fun game but money hungry

Fun game and concept but super money hungry. Even if you pay for unlimited energy you have to pay more to join tournaments because they take a different kind of energy??? That’s some BS

Response from developer

Thank you for the honest feedback. You’re right that the distinction wasn’t communicated clearly enough. Unlimited Energy covers regular DraftBattle matches. Certain tournaments have a separate entry requirement because they offer limited-entry competition and special rewards. However, we understand why purchasing Unlimited and then encountering another payment requirement can feel misleading. We’re improving how tournament costs and Unlimited benefits are explained before players join. DraftBattle will continue to offer regular gameplay and free events alongside optional paid tournaments. We appreciate you calling this out—it’s helping us make the experience clearer and fairer.

NO ENERGY PLZ

If you never ran out of energy this would genuinely be the best mobile game ever. Or a one time payment for unlimited energy.

Response from developer

Thank you for the amazing review—you asked, and we listened! DraftBattle now offers a one-time Lifetime Unlimited Energy purchase, so players who want to keep drafting never have to wait for energy again. We’ve also improved the free energy system so scheduled refills complete reliably, even when the app is closed. We appreciate the suggestion and hope you’ll give the latest version a try!

My mini games aren’t working

Overall, I really have fun in this game but my mini game does not work

Response from developer

Thank you for reporting this. We identified and fixed the issue that was preventing mini-games from working correctly for some players. Please update DraftBattle to the latest version and give Game Time another try. If you experience any further problems, contact us at support@draftbattle.app so we can investigate your specific account and device. We appreciate you helping us catch this, and we’re glad you’ve been enjoying the rest of the game!

Ad galore

I’m being generous with a 4 with how bad the game is designed for ads. Added ads that were over 40 seconds long when the game is unplayable without them. You have to wait hours to play 1 4 minute game, the game would be 5 stars if not for the crazy amount of ads needed to play the game
So I was the first review, and my whole thing was that the game would be 5 stars if there wasn’t so many ads and there wasn’t really long ads added, so then they add even longer ads. Not listening to reviews I see

Response from developer

Thank you for being one of our earliest reviewers and for being honest with us. You were right—the combination of limited energy and long ads made it feel like watching ads was required just to keep playing, which isn’t the experience we want. Since version 1.0, we’ve improved the energy system so scheduled refills complete reliably, even when the app is closed, and added more ways to continue playing. We’re also continuing to improve the pacing and ad experience because ads should always feel optional—not like an obstacle between you and the game. Your original feedback has not been ignored. It has directly influenced the changes we’re making, and we appreciate you holding us accountable.
