App won’t update to new version

It says to update for the new 2026 version but there is no update available. I’ve deleted and redownloaded several times and still no change.

Keeps showing 2024 info

How do I get 2025 info???

Side panel takes up too much space

What a terrible design for an app that claims to take advantage of landscape mode. The left side panel can’t be hidden so a great deal of screen real estate is wasted when looking at events.

When hitting the back key after drilling from an event, the schedule resets instead of taking you back to where you drilled from. Super frustrating to have to scroll all the way back every time.

And now it takes about 30 seconds for a favorite to process. The app locks up while that is happening.

Love it but

Love the app but hate the fact that every time I check it when its about a month out as soon as I open the app it says check the app store for update when there isn't an update.

Bug or bad UI

The app keeps telling me the App Store has new program info to download in the App Store. I navigate and there’s no update. I deleted and installed again. I still get the message for a program update and 2025 is still unavailable?

App is outdated

This app needs an overhaul. The UI is old, there are too many icons with the same information. I recommend taking notes from the Momocon App.

Works Great

The app is perfect whether you’re new to Dragoncon or if you’re a longtime fan. It keeps track of all events, locations, and times to make sure that you’re on schedule for your panels and other nerdy activities. My only problem is that the app is sort of slow but it’s understandable since there is so much content packed into. Otherwise the app is almost necessary when visiting dragoncon every year.

Crashes frequently, needs more info

Crashes on open, line up locations for panels not listed, causing major crowding issues

I enjoyed it

Never had any problems. Able to save events I want to go to on my schedule. Also can view the location. It is an App for a con that happens once a year. What more do people need want?

Good app - add a Watch complication?

I like the app and the Watch app - both are really useful resources during the con day!
It would be nice to have a complication to launch the watch app - and maybe a navigation component to the Watch app to find the next panel?

Plz update

While the app is vital for going to the con. It is in separate need of an overhaul. It is slow and crashes a lot. Also we could not get the share schedule with friends function to work this year, though it did last year.

Really wish this app worked

The app keeps crashing which is extremely annoying considering the amount of money we dropped on attending this event. DC next year hire a different tech company to do your app because this one is worthless.

Just meh.

The app is ok. The iconography is very confusing at the bottom. Also it sometimes freezes when I try to add something to my calendar. Very meh for an app that shouldn’t have to do that much.

Needs drastic improvements

Force closes once then opens normally on every single open. Not formatted for any of the new iPhones with the dynamic island. Clunky navigation and categorization remains - like a dead patient still hooked up to life support. And why is email the ONLY way to share a friend code like it’s still 1990. Unbelievable. I really hope someone will at some point decide to invest time in this app. Other conferences have great apps…

DECLINING APP - NOT EVEN UPDATED TO 2022

WHY?
It hasn’t been a GREAT app since I’ve attended dragoncon. Starting in 2014, now this is just downright bad. This year on top of the clustered UI mess I was prepared for again bc I lovvve dragoncon, they don’t even have it updated to 2022.

Please notice! XOXO..

Not updating

DragonCon app is not updating with the 2022 info! I updated it but everything still says 2021! How am I supposed to pre plan for this year. The con is in 2 days.

Big bug found

I also had the app mixgram downloaded. I don't know why but whenever I tried opening the dragon con app it automatically opened mixgram instead and I could never actually get the app open. I imagine this has something to do with the way the app was built. My solution was to delete mixgram but this was still very annoying.

Constantly Crashing

The app has very useful information, but it is slow to respond and crashes constantly. I was making my schedule and has the app crash 30-40 times.

Bug Submission

Since there is no easy way to submit bugs: the calendar does not allow for the editing of custom event timings; all are defaulting to 12 noon on an iPhone X with iOS 15.5. The color scheme on the custom events also makes it hard to read, possibly a conflict with the iOS dark mode.

Slow & Crashes Constantly

How can one app be simultaneously indispensable, yet nearly worthless? Somehow, this one manages to be exactly that!
