THE WORST!!
Be aware. They love to do a lot of texting. Why? Because they try to avoid you at all cost when it matters the most. Refunds take 30 days
Driver relations
Sally need to improve there relationship with drivers used to give extensions but then stopped my question is why ? If you go past your due date they charge you $50 dollars and deactivate your vehicle then once you pay your balance they charge another $25 dollars to reactivate your vehicle so in other words you profit by $75 dollars for an extension. So why refuse to give drivers an extension? Drive Sally need to improve in customer relations. Vehicle maintenance they are definitely on the ball

The all mighty dollar is more important than humanity to this company.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Drive Sally for almost two years. I’ve consistently paid my rental fees (they are more expensive than other rental companies)—even through tough times—and have always worked to stay current. Recently, I tested positive for COVID and was also suffering from a severe migraine that left me unable to see clearly or drive. I reached out to ask if they could simply roll one week’s rental fee into my existing payment plan and allow me to pay it off at $100/week.
Instead of understanding or flexibility, I was met with cold, scripted responses and immediate vehicle deactivation. I explained that losing the car would also mean losing my housing, yet they refused to grant any extension—even though they had done so for me in the past, proving they can be flexible when they want to be.
The only person at Drive Sally who has ever shown an ounce of humanity is Obie from the San Francisco office. Everyone else treated me like a number, not a person. I expected more from a company that claims to care about its drivers. If you value compassion and real customer service, this may not be the company for you.
FYI…..Avis is cheaper.

Roseland Driver
This is the best of rentals, like Mavis the maintenance is done speedily in the order received and they maintain all cars; customer pays none. Weekly rentals are fair prices, but could be lowered once the value of the vehicle presences on Uber drops — such as a dated Comfort Vehicle.
Grace period is about another day for weekly rentals due Thursdays at 11:30am. Payment plans are always feasible for any accident deductibles and repairs that aren’t responsibility of their care—such as Comprehensive Damage. If not at fault for collision, you’ll be refunded after money is collected from the other party’s insurance. If you have a blowout they’ll cover, but if you get a flat and drive the car, bend the rim, blow the censor, you’ll be charged for example. Tire plugs aren’t on you, but cracked windows from the environmental events are o. You for example.
I e rented for two years as a driver. The miles are unlimited, you’re free to use the vehicle as long as you care for it responsibly as your own and pay the rental. Oil change reminders are via text, any maintenance you need notice, make them aware and you’re good. Fluid refills are on the house. There’s a waiting room with movie theater like seating and charging stations; vending machines, clean restrooms. $300 deposit and returned if everything is good.
I’ve departed then came back before, before my refund was issued I asked if a car was available and everything was kept on file and then I rolled away as if I never left. That was 2wk process before I called them up, and as long as there is availability, you’re rolling. You can switch out if preferred vehicle is available.

Great Options
I love this app, the user options are extremely helpful for flexible needed drivers.
Vultures
All they do is make you pay more and more! They lied about 375 for 8 weeks contract non changeable price. In few days I got request to sign another contract like American Transit raised prices and I have to pay 20$ more instead of 375-395 but I had a 8 week contract for 375! Also week after week all they do is to catch you on late fees for 50$ and that how much they get you to pay almost 500 a week and how they make money and lie that they have low coat cars

Won’t let you view cars without a deposit of 300
So yeah … you can’t even view the cars without paying 300
Data Breach
I received an email that Drive Sally had a data breach and all driver/customers personal data was stolen. It doesn’t surprise me the company doesn’t take security seriously because they asked for driver license information over texts. No secure portal or upload process. I wouldn’t trust their app either.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! THEY ARE PREDATORS
I really should have checked the reviews before renting from this place. First things first, they do NOT answer the phone at all, and for proof you can call 646-883-4280 for yourself to see. Most of the communications will be done via text messages and they will take forever to respond. They required me to make a $300 deposit, then pay another $147 for a prorated amount and then 2 days later charged me $425 for a week in advance, which of course if the purpose of you renting this vehicle to drive for Lyft/Uber no one is EVER going to make that amount of money in 2 days.
Charged me a $50 late fee after 1 day of being late, of course I had to make a payment arrangement to be able to pay the amount. Since I still didn’t have the money by the payment arrangement, they turned the car off remotely and demanded I pay the money by the next day before 5:00 p.m. Since it would have been impossible to make the money with the car turned off I asked if I could make a partial payment to be able to work and make the rest they responded rudely by saying the contract is now canceled and it would be towed immediately. I was baffled since I asked politely to make a partial payment and they responded with canceling the contract. I asked why would the cancel the contract and at least give me a chance until 5:00 p.m. to see if I could borrow the money from someone. They said nothing, I called several times and no one answered. So I was able to still come up with the money and I paid it before the deadline. However after I made the payment they reported the car stolen and still came and picked up the car anyway. I don’t understand how this isn’t theft and fraud and how they’re able to still operate. It’s absolutely horrible customer service, and this feels like predatory lending practices. It’s designed for you to fail so that they can make money off of you.

Interest
When you return a Sally car they do not give you any interest on your deposit of 300.00.
App is a joke rent somewhere else
You can’t even view the vehicles before uploading a driver license app is buggy and it won’t recognize the driver license. You also have to put a deposit. I can’t imagine dealing with customer support if anything does happen.
Scammed
They will make you pay a $300 deposit and ghost…
Terrible company!
I am deeply disappointed with the abysmal customer service and the consistent issues I have encountered with the vehicles provided by Drive Sally. This is now the second vehicle I have rented from them, and once again, I find myself facing mechanical problems. It is evident that Drive Sally prioritizes money over the well-being and satisfaction of their customers.
Not only do they fail to address the mechanical issues promptly, but their lack of responsiveness is truly disheartening. Attempting to contact them is an exercise in futility, as phone calls go unanswered and text messages are ignored. It is utterly frustrating to be threatened with consequences through text messages when they can't even bother to acknowledge our attempts to reach out.
The disregard for their customers is appalling. Drive Sally seems to have no concern for the individuals who rely on their services and faithfully make payments. However, the moment a life event occurs that temporarily hinders our ability to pay on time, they show no empathy or understanding.
I am left with no choice but to explore legal action against Drive Sally. Their poor customer service and faulty vehicles have caused significant inconvenience and frustration. It is clear that they prioritize profit over providing a reliable and satisfactory experience for their customers.
I strongly advise others to reconsider renting from Drive Sally. Their lack of professionalism, responsiveness, and concern for their customers' well-being is simply unacceptable. It is essential to support businesses that prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold their responsibilities.

They take your deposit, but then its radio silence.
Beware, they require a $300 deposit that they require before you can even see the types of cars they have available, if they even show you anything at all. I’m on day three not able to get anyone to answer the phone, no where to rent in their app, and no one is responding to my email. That was my last 300 and i feel like im stuck. I do not recommend this company, buyer beware..
