While you drive, the app shows current speed, 2-second, 2.5-second, and 3-second average acceleration, plus route-distance status in one focused dashboard. Tap the speed or acceleration area to enter Focus Mode, where large 7-segment numbers fill the screen. A blue guide explains that you can touch the screen for one second to return, and the return gesture is shown with a filling animation. The app smooths unstable GPS readings and updates speed and acceleration only when location data is trusted enough. The GPS status panel shows public Core Location quality values, including accuracy, speed accuracy, course accuracy, refresh age, refresh cadence, and a beacon pulse when a new GPS update arrives. The expanded map keeps the current location and full route in view, separates route and penalty sections by color, and avoids distracting route refresh flashes. If you manually pan or zoom, automatic fitting pauses. After 5 seconds without manual map interaction, the camera smoothly returns to the current-location and full-route view.
