Wants full access to “all” photos
The app refuses to open unless it gets unrestricted access to read all photos in your photo app even though it should only need the ability to add to your album without reading all photos.
It also wants GPS access on the iPhone even though the unit you would pair to would already have its own GPS receiver.
Will be retuning the dashcam.

Requires Full Access to Photos
This app works great, but there is one major privacy flaw. It requires full access to your photo library, including hidden photos, which may contain sensitive information such as banking details. For this reason, I can’t give it a full five stars because it is not necessary to require full access when other apps can have limited access to photos and still have write permissions. Hopefully the developer can change the app to write-only and not require aggressive full access where the entire library can be copied and sent to the developer

I have two cameras: DP10 and DP250.
DP10 is configured in my device as I bought it a year ago, however, it’s no lo get connecting.
I have purchased a DP250 and I’m trying to add the device and it’s not connecting either. In both cases I am connected to their respective wifi networks.
I have tried with two different iPhones and getting the same issue

Terrible app
Had my camera for years but the app just isn’t up to much! It takes about an hour to download a 3 minute clip ( if it downloads at all!) it freezes and then crashes so have to start again!

A quality can at a reasonable price = Great Value
Clear, sharp picture. Size is perfect. Unlike the bulky GoPro, the tubular profile is much preferred. Connects with Wi-Fi on my Apple iPhone 12 for camera position adjustment and angle. Versatile SD card size allows for included 32 gig card to 256 which is optional. Longer time recording for distant rides. Cherry on the pie is a 32gig mini card included. Can’t beat the price for the features which gives the rider a quality low profile tubular camera with clear crisp recordings. “Best Buy for the Buck.”

Finding difficult to understand how to make the drive pro screen turn off while driving
Takes forever to connect to device
I bought the DP10 and turns out it does NOT have loop recording, meaning it just stops recording when the card is full. What’s worse is that the device doesn’t even tell you that it’s full.. it just STOPS recording but from the outside, it still blinks like it does.
On the second day of operation, card is corrupted.
This app’s main purpose is to just format the card when it gets corrupted and delete files when the card is full. Connecring rhe app to the device takes ages adding more frustration to daily operation.

Doesn't let me to connect to internet. Firmware up to date, keep saying i have to check wifi function. Gps location is on Always mode, local network ok, everything is done still not working.

I can’t even access my video feeds when I connect to my dashcam keeps saying please try again. And on the rare occasion where I can access them they don’t load up and I’m not able to Download them.
Painfully slow downloads on DrivePro 220
This app is so slow at downloading clips from my DrivePro 220. It often takes up to 5 minutes to download a single 1 minute video. Please sort this.

Been using this for a few years now, and found it annoying that you had to download the whole 3-5 minute clip just for a 10 second video.
