Driveway Alert turns your Ring driveway camera into a smart license-plate recognizer. Enroll the plates of cars you know — family, partners, frequent visitors — and get a clear notification the moment they arrive. At night, get a quiet alert when an unknown plate appears. • KNOWN VEHICLES, BY NAME We match every detected plate against the ones you enrolled, so push notifications tell you exactly who just pulled into your driveway. • QUIET-HOURS UNKNOWN ALERTS During your configured quiet hours (default 10pm–6am), an unknown plate triggers a low-key heads-up so you can quickly check who's outside. • ACTIVITY YOU CAN SCAN The Activity feed groups arrivals by time with the plate, label, and confidence. Tap any event for details. • PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Snapshots from Ring are processed in-memory only for license-plate inference — we never store raw camera images. Event records hold only the detected plate text and confidence. Delete your account anytime from Settings; all data is wiped within seconds. • RING INTEGRATION Driveway Alert is a Ring partner app. Sign in with your Ring account to link your existing Ring cameras — no extra hardware needed.
