Driveway Alert

Driveway Alert watches your Ring driveway camera and tells you which car just pulled in. Save the cars you know — family, partners, regular visitors — by make, model, body type and colour, and get a clear notification the moment one of them arrives, and a different one when something unfamiliar does. Driveway Alert does not read licence plates. No plate text is produced, matched or stored. • CARS YOU KNOW, BY NAME Save a vehicle once and give it a name. When it comes back the alert says who it is, instead of "motion detected". • QUIET HOURS FOR THE UNFAMILIAR During the hours you choose (10pm–6am by default) an unfamiliar vehicle raises a low-key heads-up, so you can check without being woken by everything else. • ARRIVALS YOU CAN SCAN The arrivals list groups the day by time, with the vehicle description, the name you gave it, and how sure the match is. Tap an arrival for the detail and the snapshot it came from. • YOUR DATA A snapshot is taken from your Ring camera to describe the vehicle and is kept with the arrival so you can see what triggered it. Snapshots and arrivals are deleted automatically after 90 days.
