What's New in this Version Improved Dynamic Range accuracy — now matches the official DR14 standard Heads up if you've used previous versions: DR scores in this release may read 2–4 points lower than before. This is not a regression — it's a correction. The previous algorithm produced systematically optimistic readings due to three deviations from the Pleasurize Music Foundation DR14 specification. Dr. Doctor now uses the same formula as the public DR Database (dr.loudness-war.info), the TT DR Meter, and the foobar2000 DR plugin. Your numbers will now line up with the values audiophiles and mastering engineers have referenced for over a decade.
